They sleep soundly not giving a single thought to their child’s future or their own. I’ve been watching this channel for a couple years now and something that just blew up in my head with people/couples like these is they are not PROBLEM SOLVERS. I used to think they are just lazy (yes that’s some of it too) but with all their problems they only think of the most surface level solution and god forbid that doesn’t solve their problem they will completely forget about trying any other solutions. This is why business owners have to be problem solvers and usually are in a better place in life no matter what happens because they can solve problems and not give up on the first try (and usually aren’t lazy) anyway- thanks Caleb for all the great content.

That's my thoughts too as a stay at home Mom. At 2 my daughter knew the entire alphabet, could count to 10 and do basic math. She could also speak in complete sentences and blew people's minds because I actively sat down and read to her/did lessons every single day. I love gaming, at max I could squeeze in 2 hours during nap/after bedtime, and that's with letting things like cleaning the toilets go undone.

It COULD be a concern but I'll say my oldest didn't say hardly anything until he was almost three and then suddenly exploded into full, complex sentences like a switch flipped. He still communicated and had a couple of words but that was it. Now he's 11 and cruising through 6th grade.

100% correct. That baby should be babbling, talking and interacting at that age. Either the kid doesn’t get enough interaction or something is wrong and as a parent you might want to see a specialist. This is a universal stage of child development and not a personality thing

@@FirinMahLazer1I don’t think that’s a fair generalization. Living with family longer than the average American sure that can be cultural. But laziness no. One of my hispanic friends was a first gen college student and is now a PA. He worked his way through school too.
@FirinMahLazer14 ай бұрын
@@Goldstar00 Enabling bad behavior definitely isn't bound by culture for sure. But I seem to notice a pattern with Hispanic families in general where they support each other to a fault at times. Multi generational households aren't out of the norm and that can be a beautiful positive thing if everyone is contributing but it seems like there's always someone who didn't plan or prepare and now the family is a crutch. The glaringly obvious point in this episode is the lack of financial education which could very well be a symptom of immigrating to this country and not understanding how it works. The lack of education snowballs through generations. I don't feel like that's an unfair assessment and could be applied to white and non white immigrants across the board.

I don’t think 22 is too young to understand their choices. They are choosing to be losers. At 22, I was in college, worked and saved money to travel the world (worked while traveling) and came back and started a career and retirement plan at their age. I had no parent guiding me, did it in my own. These people are truly pathetic.

I’m gonna hop on your bandwagon. I was working full time and going to college full time at their age. I worked my way up to assistant manager in retail and started my 401k at 20

At 22 I was studying full time while working part time till I graduated. My parents motivated me to do well in school but the decision to get a job was mine alone . I had to find a way to support myself it’s apart of growing up.

Same I was in college full time and part time working but unfortunately my parents bs fell on my brother then on me that prevented us to live our own lives and have support from them. We were basically independent and babysitting them.

10000% this. My son is also 2. I understand picky kiddos bc I am extremely picky. My son is not but I am. I have never seen a toddler who won't eat frozen nuggets if they're truly hungry but will eat McDonald's. This poor child.
@WolfGan01784 ай бұрын
Kid is set up for childhood morbid obesity, on top of poverty. Really sad to see. Going out is fine but every single day is just not healthy or sustainable. When my 4 year old decides to be picky it's usually a test, will I cave and let her have ice cream? No, I won't, and now she'll eat all sorts of things most kids won't. Asparagus, fish, carrots (which she tried to hate for months), broccoli. You can try different ways to cook/prepare things too. I have to smother the asparagus with lemon juice and she LOVES that.

Absolutely agree! We get “sometimes snacks” like cheese it’s or gummies and the majority of the time fruit is still our most wanted snacks, and occasionally we just really want a romaine lettuce leaf on its own, like today😂
@TonyCox13514 ай бұрын
Also, nuggets from McDonald’s are extremely cheap. There’s absolutely no reason why a family living rent free can’t afford to feed their kids chicken nuggets if that’s all they’ll eat. If it wasn’t for the gaming PC and the trips to amusement parks, then getting a 4 piece happy meal 7 times a week wouldn’t be an issue

I have zero sympathy for them. She's complaining about him working 6 days a week, so she'd rather that he make zero money instead. This is what happens when toddlers play house.

Hearing "he's a picky eater" and "he likes McDonald's" talking about a 2 year old makes me so upset. The dad definitely just hands the kid a phone or puts them in front of the tv all day at home also. This one is too depressing.

Life is more than just work. Rich people have no shame doing zero work. All the people on KZbin selling courses are successful because people want passive income which is nothing but money without doing work.

Fast food is the worst thing to be feeding a small child. He must get it often enough that he is comfortable being picky about it.
@TheMariemarie163 ай бұрын
To be fair for working parents it is really hard to cook every single meal. A lot of times you might be getting home at 10:00 at night and it's really hard to never ever buy something for the child because if you buy something for yourself they want what you're eating.
