This video was produced because inclusion often comes under threat when a student’s behaviour becomes a concern, and this can be a source of great worry and stress for all concerned. In this video, we tell the story of a Year 4 student who had previously struggled at school, and was finding it very difficult to engage in classroom learning, make friends, and who experienced many challenges, including staying in the classroom and school refusal.
We hear from some of the members of the team who helped to turn this around: his Mum, his teacher, the inclusion support teacher and the Principal.
