Bro how do your vids chill me out? Lol like even reactions it’s like what? My anxiety is chill af haha. And I’m talking real anxiety not just a bit nervous now and again and I refuse meds. They make one problem go away and cause another… therapy is the answer, natural medicines, exercise, meditation and watching your channel 😂

@@rachaellee2629 The sun is actually one of the best medicines. We certainly do need it and it’s always there too… It comes up every morning. Going outside makes the biggest difference in life, sitting in the garden, on the balcony, getting a small dog taking it for walks, going to sit in a park with a tea or a coffee! There are so many things that don’t involve poisonous chemicals going into your body which can heal you. Also, I remind myself that the winter months bring celebration.. like Christmas for instance. Most of it is a case of changing thought process and none of this is easy but in the long run it’s so healthy and it does work. 🙂

I think of it more as a compliment when someone likes something from another culture so much that they want to copy it. Show me where any culture has a right to say: That is something only we ever did and no one else. For example, the infamous "braids" have been around in many cultures across the world, going back thousands of years.

I think its mostly America that scream "cultural appropriation" in a negative way... I'm a white South African, and when I show interest in other cultures or other people's way of life, they tend to be super excited to educate me, since they see it as I'm trying to honor their heritage... I've had my hair done in corn braids by black people,learned to cook curry from indians and learned the proper way to eat Asian cuisine... It's educational as well as paying respect to their heritage...

You spoke the words out of my mouth, America is literally a melting pot and everyone says we should embrace that, which we should, but then they complain about stealing “someone else’s” culture, it’s like do you want to live together or not?
@angr3819
@angr3819 3 жыл бұрын
Do we need to be melted though? Isn't he saying we don't need to be? We can simply accept not all being the same? Some ancient tribes of whites braided their blond hair long prior to knowing there were any peoples who didn't look similar to themselves. Who know or cares who was doing it first? No one knows and it doesn't matter. What is for sure is that peoples whose only concern was hunting and gathering enough food and building shelters would not have cared one iota about 'cultural appropriation, so should we? Those who do must have too much time on their hands. After all, what colour, race, age, 'class' is spirit - and do we not all share spirit? Body is body, spirit is what makes us tick, Imo.

From many, emerges one. America is a melting pot but it was always one designed to unite its people's under one strong culture. These guys are trying to erode that culture, because our society will become easier to enslave if it's unraveled.

I feel like an idiot telling anyone I have anxiety because EVERYONE has anxiety now…but if you point that out, you’re not taking mental healthy seriously…but they are by making it a fad? Okay, cool. 👍🏻 lol Edit: by “EVERYONE has anxiety now” I am meaning those who wear their anxiety as a mental illness badge but in reality are most likely experiencing what is a normal spectrum of emotion, not the clinical depression/anxiety that is classified as a mental illness. I obviously cannot speak to anyone else’s personal mental health…but ya’ll know what I’m talking about. Discussions in the comments are great! 👍🏻

For most of my life I thought that the majority of people claiming to have anxiety were just seeking attention, just wanting pills or just full of shit. A few years ago I was in a pretty bad accident (long story). It took roughly 6 months for me to recover and during that time I developed severe anxiety. The type that barely allows you to even get 30 minutes of sleep a day for weeks at a time. I eventually overcame it myself without therapy or meds but once ever so often I do get what I call a "flare up". I have mad respect for anyone that is truly going through that on a regular.

I have PTSD and all the wonderful anxiety that comes with it. People don't understand what it does to you, not just mentally, but physically. It affects your entire life. It's being made a fad. There is a huge difference between being anxious (a natural human emotion) and having panic attacks. In my case 15 minutes of uncontrollable hyperventilating with hysterical crying. Also I know the what and why behind them so I can avoid them better. That is helpful. But I don't wear it like a badge of honour.

Anxiety is only a first world problem. Look at these third world countries. No food, no water, no escape, no hope. Yet no anxiety. Moat people anxiety is caused by guilt because the have it so easy. Most military PTSD isn't by what haunts them. It's by them missing it. If we're here to be honest. Let's be completely honest.

*As a White Australian with Irish/Icelandic heritage I LOVE that someone finally talked about the hypocrisy* regarding the group of “whites” and attempt to destroy “white diversity” and “white culture” by grouping us all as “whites”. Personally I don’t mind, but if someone’s going to be upset that I said “black” instead of “Nigerian” or “Cameroonian” for example; then I dislike that hypocrisy. *I always get called a “white American” whenever I go to the US.* I always get one person (usually a white liberal or a black chick with a blonde wig) saying I’m “culturally appropriating” for having “braids.”* Despite me having Icelandic/Swedish braids, which our culture has had for generations before whites and blacks even made first contact. I’m sick of the hypocrisy.

You pointed out so many things that SO many other reactors didn't even notice. THANK YOU! The robot part had me cracking up. And when he ran scared after he told us the answer is unity. XD Fantastic points and reaction. Very well done content. Thank you for this. Much love, New sub.

Right, anxiety is a human trait in us all. Some have it worse then others. Not knowing the unknown is my sum of anxiety. It can be a scary thought for us all. Keep up the work.

I think being subbed to Tom is why this came on my feed. He is the only rapper I have really listened to, after coming across him last week. Mind, I am an old lady in the UK, who usually only likes opera, classical, country, pan pipes, easy listening. Mellow stuff. The bit of rap I have heard my sons playing seems to have been aggressive and not always with musical sense. I was introduced to Tom via a friend on fb who linked to his Brainwashed. Now I have listened to your commentary and it's so good to hear young people who don't want the aggression, don't want the divide and conquer and who simply want to live and let live :) It's also good to see all ages in agreement that we only want to get on with living normal, decent lives without all having to be in that political melting pot of 'sameness'.

I feel you on the reaction comment you made, like seriously if you're watching someone react to a video (whether it's music or basically any video) and they pause it to REACT or they even react while it's playing, don't complain! You have no right to complain, just go watch the actual video on your own! Not that hard people 🙄

No cap, Tom Macdonald is so legit. He's witty af and the subtle bars he drops are great. He's got no filter and you gotta admit he's a hard worker. He gives zero fucks about how many people he triggers, it's gotta be funny to him. He's making so much money and people are just wining because a man has a opinion that doesn't line up with theirs.
