Yo this comment is blowing my mind right now. I was super close with my mother my whole life. To the point that I have Mama's Boy and a breast cancer ribbon with a rose on my face. But she passed away from breast cancer in April of 2017. She was my biggest fan but had never seen me accomplish anything big while she was here. But every time I would post on Facebook she would comment on it and say just say "Yep, yep....." like that was her catchphrase. I have been wondering if she can see what I've been doing on my KZbin channel and your comment is a sign to me that she absolutely is seeing what is happening. Thank you.

Same. My family was sold from Ireland during the potato famine. People are so focused on the African American slaves that they completely ignore that people of all races and nationalities were slaves, too. Going back literally to Sumer and Kush, all the way up through the Roman Empire, the Colonial times, and even right now. What I don't understand is how every other people that has been enslaved, from the dawn of time until now, has managed to get over the fact that their ancestors were slaves, and live in the now, EXCEPT some of the African Americans. It's definitely not even close to all of them, because I know entirely too many that don't buy into the BS and are living just fine. Are we doing it wrong? I mean, should we Irish be bleating on about how we were done wrong by the English, the Romans, and the Vikings? Is there some kind of magic in this traumatized victim mentality that we're missing out on?

Where I work, there is a teacher that teaches a class on legal debate. That is, how to handle subjects in the court of law. Once a week, instead of focusing on court room debates, he focuses on debate on public issues. Thank you for posting this amazing song and your comments about it. I am a 67 yr old woman who sees all this and my heart breaks the way people hate eachother these days. I can remember the days in Hollywood,during the 70's. We all loved eachother and didnt spend time with hate,..too much fun to be had back then. According to the Free Dictionary: To describe or characterize something in very general, vague, or broad terms, ignoring or neglecting to include specific details. The way I always had understood the phrase was do not stigmatize people or make assumptions.
