I’m so thankful you can watch Jackson grow up. My baby niece and Jackson both have almost the same birthday and I haven’t been able to see her because of the pandemic! I get video updates but the only way I know how her growing up is doing, is simply by watching Jackson. So she should be growing her first teeth and almost crawling too! Thank you!

OPTOMETRIST here: I love watching your eye exam experience. So glad you had your vision explained so well. I'm in a Walmart practice and we are closed off to the general store part too. I'm only seeing 1 patient/hour to allow for enhanced cleaning. I love to talk to my patients about their vision (and other things). Thanks for showing us this!

I had a seat for my girls years ago that suctioned to the bottom of the tub and it was like a little chair. It was round all the way around so they couldn't fall over. I'm sure they have something cooler than that nowadays. I put them in about Jackson's age. He is just so adorable 💙

Totally understand the whole bad vision thing. I used to hand my glasses to a classmate in high school as a bit of a prank. I’m myopic, basically nearsighted, but it’s not even from one eye to the next. Left eye is almost 20/20. Right? I can read the first two lines on the eye chart, 3 if I’m lucky. My contact prescription is just over double on my right eye from my left.

I love Warby Parker! Their customer service in person is amazing! I just got my grandma a new glasses, and we went twice to an open store to get it tight enough for her! It was amazing. They are surely keeping social distancing (at least the two stores that I went to in Miami). I have glasses from them too, and they are really good quality, especially for the price! I hope Jim likes them! BTW, maybe Jim can get the glasses that are light-responsive! That way when he goes out, he can still wear his glasses! Rest his eyes from contacts! Just a suggestion! P.S. Baby Jackson is soon going to be a more independent little man!

Jackson is too adorable for words! Happy little fella. Our baby boy crawled backwards for what felt like forever. I was so confused! He worked it out though. Apparently that's a common thing although I had never seen any other baby do it LOL. I guess they all do it in their way, in their time. And that dinner looked incredible! Yum yum!

You can always cut horizontal slits in the gaiter instead of the vertical slits. That way the gaiter hangs off the tops of your ears instead of exposing the whole ear. I've done this to three of mine and it's very comfortable.

Jackson just keeps getting cuter and so close to crawling! I recommend getting any big projects done now because when he is mobile you can’t keep your eyes off him! I remember it being a really stressful period of parenting. Like probably until he’s about 5 and he understands what is dangerous etc. or maybe I was just a paranoid mom (I do work in a pediatric intensive care unit in a hospital and see all the worst case scenarios). Tim don’t forget to show us your new glasses when you get them!!

I recently changed eye doctors also and my new eye doctor told me I have astigmatism too! My childhood eye doctor never told me I had it. But I noticed my non-astigmatism contacts made my eyes feel really dry and that "eyelash in your eyeball" feeling never went away like they say it's supposed to. My astigmatism contacts are sooo much more comfortable. They definitely feel like they fit the shape of my eye better. I also think they're easier to take out because they're a little thicker.
