The first thing I would bring with me on a trip like this would be a full face modular helmet for some comfort when it rains , wishing the young lad well , he must have a good sponsor behind him to be able to afford 4 or 5 years off travelling the world

What an experience for Ben! He'll love it, meet some great people and have some great experiences. I've been lucky enough travel and work in many of his destinations, most not as dangerous as you might think. Iran has the craziest drivers in the world by some way! Great you could be there and share in his history. And an excellent bike choice! Light enough to pick up by yourself (if you haven't got a BBC film crew handy) and you can get them repaired anywhere! Awesome stuff :-) still recovering from a motorcycle accident from May after a knob knocked me off on a roundabout, hoping to upgrade from my GS500 that's now written off to a nice Cruiser, especially after seeing Bat Out of Hell in London, it's rekindled something within me. Missenden Flyer, if you read this, seriously go see bat out of hell it's only on until next Tuesday but seriously it's amazing! Hoping to get a nice Cruiser maybe a Suzuki or Yamaha though I'd love a Harley but don't know if I can afford to keep one running lol. Great stuff as always! :-)
