Yeah I think so too. And that's why the guy I used to be close with pulled back. Dude had a dysfunctional perception of love and I think he's scared because he felt something real. If he pulls back, I think we should understand that we deserve better and walk away. What's important is that we don't diminish our self-worth because the guy we like pulled back and start hyperfocusing on what we did wrong. I learnt it the hard way but it was worth it! Thanks Jonathon :)

The woman who let go of a good guy with a weight issue could've been me a couple weeks ago. We could've had electricity, but he showed up with significantly more weight than his pictures showed: a cardiac event waiting to happen. I'm less than two years out from fulltime caregiving for my late spouse with Alzheimer's. Not looking to re-enter the nursing realm anytime soon. But he stepped forward, made an excuse about his work hours being increased and he can't have a steady relationship right now after all, and thanks anyway. I said I understood and wished him well. We both know what it was really about.

This exact thing happened to me a few months ago. Everything was fantastic mutually between us.. then he hit a wall and broke up with me. He has serious abandonment issues with his mom and his wife cheated on him for years. I'm almost 100% sure that's why he can't get there with real love. 😢💔

My hand slipped where are the good hearted men looking for a good women? It never has been so draining. Dating is a pain. I know you have 2 date 2 find the one but l keep meeting the same man. My friends say the same thing that are single. I might already be a golden girl and not know it.❤

Question, what if you meet a guy and he has a grandchild he is raising and I don't want to be in a relationship with someone who has younger children or grand kids. How do I approach the subject w/o hurting him.
@wandayarbrough Жыл бұрын
Yes experiencing that now. But we are just friends.

Why would you hurt him by stating your truth in a kind way? Men appreciate honesty. He may be disappointed, but I’m sure he’ll understand. Watch how Marie, J’s girlfriend, handles things, we can all learn from her!

Thank you, Jonathon, regarding road signs - it makes perfect sense to share childhood trauma and adult relationship issues. But, I'm no counselor..It's rare to hear an example here or there. Occasionally I'll hear clues - and then pulling back becomes apparent for an average of 4 days. It's mostly a cycle with an upswing result of spending more quality time, for comfortable experiences and observation (it seems), though. It's becoming apparent that the proof is in the caution and the positive moving forward. ✨️

Sometimes we manifest the friction because we are not in alignment with ourselves. If we are seeking relationship and love from a person, we are causing a bankruptcy of self love. If you love your life and feel good with yourself, everywhere you go you will manifest people who fall in love with you. Something will brew inside if you to develop and exercise your vocal chords to negotiate terms and agreements or you will drift into false expectations and or self sabotage.
