Honestly, I appreciate his dedication and effort to make krumping a respected international dance style. But, I do not like how he has evolved the dance style. It looks robotic and stiff. Also, I don't like how he's teaching it to all these foreign folks like a "salsa" dance class. Krump originally free form, fluid, very high energy and aggressive, and incorporated a lot more dance moves including more acrobatics, footwork, and body pumps. You didn't learn it in a dance class but on the streets. It was an outlet for those young people to express their oppression and pain living in their environment.

I am also new to this "krump" movement.. and i think there is no "wrong or right" from what ive seen so far, theres basic hand gestures that are being used but besides that its all improv. Its basically releasing trapped up emotions and a way of "story-telling" so to speak, through movements. Like when writing a poem about your life lets say, there can be a concept or it may be random according to how you/author is feeling at the current moment in his/her life.

I appreciate Tight Eyez dedication and how he is really invested into bringing his version of Krump to the world stage. I respect it. However, this is not the original art form of Krump. Please watch the documentary called Rize. Tight Eye, version of Krump is interesting, but I prefer the older style when it was more fluid, more dance techniques used, and more raw and aggressive. Krump was more participatory and typically involved two people dancing off of the vibe from each other in a raw, fight style,and aggressive way.

All dance forms evolve. Clowning, Krump, hip hop, classical dances, and so on. If it doesn't it becomes stagnant in a lifetime or a few and becomes so obscure. Krump isn't really in my area so I see stuff online. Doesn't the current version still have battle opponents like u said unless it's a showcase, demo, or choreographed pc?

Nobody in the USA was watching South Africans dance when Krump came out. Ok. 😂😂😂😂We aren't watching you folks like that. This came organically from the Black American community in California. The original krumpers started off as "clowning". Another dance style in Cali. Then those dancers broke off and starred Krumping and the style was a.lot.more fluid and free form. Tight Eyes evolved it but used specific moves from original krumping. You need to watch the documentary Rize. Just because you watch us, doesn't mean we watch you. So, stop insinuating that our art form originally comes from your people as if we are copying. We aren't.
