Bit weird not to bring the dog. But, regardless, my point is there's an issue that this never came up during planning. That means at no point while they were making plans, talking about what to pack, etc. that he ever thought to ask, "so who's watching your dog?" or "what time are you dropping Oliver off? I need to plan when to come pick you up."

My life isn’t pet-less, but there are times when a getaway means just you & your significant other. If you take a trip or vacation out of the country, are you going to insist on taking your dog(s) ?? Either they go or you don’t ?? If wherever you’re going is inside the U.S., but involves flying, you’re going to take your dog ? Some people don’t know how to let go. Leave your dog with family or friends that they know, they’ll be fine. And this skit is an overnight trip ?? She can’t go away for one night without her dog?
