This game's biggest satisfactions come from last minute victories. Yesterday I won a 3v3 with a team of randoms with 12 points, and the other team had 490 before they started losing ground consistently, I never enjoyed a win so much

It's easy in team games as axis to gain critical mass and become unstoppable. For allies it's a lot harder, there's a lot more teamwork and it yields results like this game.

My strategy for coh 2 now that i know the pathfinding is to lure them down path of ambush with machine guns. Just beyond the visual range i set a demolition charge or 3 to destroy any pesky blobs. If its getting late in the round i put at mines around the demo charge.

I have a question, maybe someone can help me with. If a squad with (semi) automatic wrapon moves forward to the enemy, they shoot at this enemy. 1. What happens if they move AWAY from an enemy (eneny behind)? Do they shoot in the opposite moving direction? 2. And related to that, what if the enemy units are at their side? Do they shoot (strafing what we call it in shooter games)? 3. If a stationary unit is firing at an enemy unit in front of it, but decides to switch target to an enemy unit behind, does this switching of targets goes instant, or is it done with a delay?

1. That depends if you manually aim them or if they are running around automatically. If you aim them manually they´ll only target what you told them to gun down, if not they basically shoot at anything that moves. Which means if the enemy comes from behind and they move away from another squad they´ll switch targets. 2. Look at 1. 3. As far as i could tell they switch with a delay. In short micro your units as that increases your chances to do significant damage and survive engagements.

@@venusflytrap2622 many thanks to ur reply. Ad1. I was more pointing to " move and scoot" scenario, regardless of auto targetting or manual targetting. Let me rephrase: can squads move forward and at the same time while moving forward at the same speed shoot backwards? Or can they only shoot forward in the direction they are moving?

​@@juanzulu1318 they can only shoot in a somewhat 180 degrees in front of them, units cant shoot behind them and move to the opposite direction, so when they move they shoot units to their sides and infront but not behind
