The bomb is a WWII 100 pound practice bomb. They were mostly used training for the B-17 and B-25. They were filled with sand and dropped once or twice. Other than the surface rust it looks in great shape. I paid $400 for mine and you can still read all the stenciling on it. If there is a hole in the end where the fins are then that is what it is. You don't need him, there are YT vids from salesman and owners of car lots that tell you exactly how to get the best prices on new cars. My friend and two of his friends bargained absolute rock bottom prices for three of the super corvettes (Z06s or whatever) a few years back saying just order them and we'll come pick them up as soon as they come in. Don't wash them, don't touch them, it's fine if the plastic is still on them. One point they make is NEVER tell them you are buying with cash (if you are) until the price is sealed, many of them make most of their money on financing.

Had to stop what I was doing to pay full attention throughout. :) Some great buys & bargains, and you were kind to give $350 for the set of Snap-On drills for what they're reselling for. Then again, you should profit possibly $200 off of that purchase, so a good buy overall. Then you have the guy that just bought a dog for 50 cents, sold it to you for $7.50, and you'll sell it for $25 or whatever. Loved that whole interaction as well. Always great to see Vicky and Adrien as well. Nice to see the wall filling up quite quickly! Thanks, Pete. Take care for now and I'll catch you on the next one.

@Craigslist Hunter That is not handmade to look like a bomb..... That is a legit military practice shell.. You can tell by the presence of the blue paint on the tailfin that it is inert (not active or dangerous).... Very cool.... I have the tailfin off of one of those (the real kind)..... I believe the seam is welded on the practice shells, about 8-10 inches above the fins. The military would use these as training tools for new pilots and the air crew... They would load a bunch of these up, and make sure that the crew could hit a specified target location, to ensure their "combat effectiveness". Very cool piece of history, and very neat... I collect stuff like this.

I think Vicky mentioned the color was not same as one on E Bay. They doesn't mean it's fake because blue colors can be impossible to get right.
