Facts! A guy I cared about said that to me, and claimed it had nothing to do with me. I told him, you don't want me. Their actions let you know they mean the "with you" part. Is this equivalent to “lets take things slow” but doing everything like yall in relationship .ex( calling everyday, seeing multiple times a week, wants to be around your child but your against it unless yall are committed” he was dating me for 4 months and I learned long ago men know quickly. This exactly what I’m going through now. I recently was dating this guy i knew from years ago and he came back showing me so much better . We were so connected . It’s many times I felt like how do I know he not going to do the same thing. We were bickering about his past and friendships that’s no good for him. I gave him respect and he just couldn’t see how I just wanted the best for him. I noticed that he lied to me about stuff and I broke it off but I really thought like I love him he’s been around family I can move past this . I know in the past I had trust issues but I thought really love him I can move past this. He basically told me that he wasn’t ready bc he needed to heal. Of course I’m broken bc I fell for him but the first part and the second part of this video really helped me a lot. He apologized and told me it wasn’t me and like he owed me the respect to face me but I was too heart broken to face him . I still was hurt because I know some stuff just was typical male behavior and Where I messed up at was I been knew he wasn’t ready based of his past . I really should’ve trusted myself and not allowed myself to get this deep knowing deep down in my heart he wasn’t ready for the woman I am. I really appreciate this video because it’s helping me get through this pain I’m feeling. Definitely Great Advice

Hi Stephan, thank you for your videos. I recently went "no contact" with a friend I was dating (situationship, thanks for your videos on that). I did it because 9 months had passed between our respectful dissociation (he had a new job move out of state, was not in the position to be in a serious relationship /not with me atleast) and I am still attracted to him. I don't want to be friends with him in this state for fear of manipulating him or for being vulnerable because I am soft towards him while our friendship continues on. We never had more than a month of not communicating since then, we would "check in" every now and then. A month and a half ago, he messaged me on my former best friends birthday, she is the one who introduced us many years ago. I felt salty about it because I "assumed" he saw it was her birthday and thought of me to check in. Totally unconfirmed assumption. Anyway, I that day I decided hey I will go no contact for three months to heal from this friend's with benefits dating situationship and move on.. In the past six weeks he has contacted me several times and called once to check in. Like I said we ended respectfully and there are no hard feelings, I knew he was just out of a serious relationship and moving cross country and still decided to date him, I even visited him in his new town as I was figuring out how to get a job out there as well for my own reasons. That is where we ended things, I wanted more, he was emotionally lacking, I was emotionally needy and over compensating with sex, though I felt empty because I felt like he was consumed with his job. I'm asking, why is this acquaintance turned date turned back to friend still contacting me? We live far apart and there is no reason to be in contact anymore, we weren't close friends, but we knew each other for a decade. I can say I was very lustful toward him and attracted to his intelligence. The other issues I was not content with therefore our reason to end things logically made sense - we are physically distant and not ready for a relationship. The "no contact" rule hasn't really changed anything on my end, I still feel friendly toward him, now I'm just looking at his text and not replying. I don't have a strong urge to contact him but I do have an urge to resolve what it is about this person I can't let go of. Why stay friends with an ex? My past several hookups have been situationships for several years since my last and only seriously relationship. I am glad to realize that I have been serial situation-dating and I wish to stop that all together and gain the confidence to know my boundaries and declare when I am attracted to someone, something I'm always been afraid of. He broke it down to me in a way where i understand that the person was the one that hurt me not love...love don't hurt people do...and from then I understood...

I’m so glad I found your channel. I’ve been crying over this man because I thought he was actually busy. He was working Monday-Saturday and basically had no time. He told me that he didnt have the time for the relationship, I believed him. I then find out that he was taking other girls on dates, and that’s what stung. He didn’t want a relationship with me.
