I get it kind of. When me and my boyfriend were working out together, he was gaining muscle while I was losing fat. I am heavier than him. So it felt like he was starting at 20 and I was negative 50. I felt like I would never catch up, and I definitely wouldn’t start looking typically good until way after he started looking typically good. I think he looks great as he is, and he thinks the same about me. It was just that ick feeling of me needing to catch up so it’s even before I felt comfortable. Maybe this guy feels the same way.
