It will take decades in Africa for people like this to rise to positions of leadership. They can't fit into the political system as is presently filled with Morons criminals thugs and ritualists. For us to have people like these in our polity, from Nigeria as a case study a Nigerian. We need to encourage our children and the youth to be a party ,registered members of political parties and maybe in a decade a two , a change of systems and ideologies philosophies begin to metamorphosis gradually into new thoughts for Self less leadership and not callous corrupt clueless rulers who export our commonwealth buying properties in Europe US etc. Once we get our Leadership right in Africa, we will be where we ought to be. Imagine that this great man said he has not received any support from the Ghanaian government 😕. How sad!! But these same govts in Ghana and my country Nigeria will quickly rush to support the Lebanese and Indians because of kickbacks roundtripping of the funds they give them.

I have said it very often that Africans in diaspora should always have the mindset and plan to come back home to invest in Africa. The idea of stay put in Europe and America is another perpetuation of slavery. The Europeans came to Africa took our resources to develop their land why can't we do the same especially for those of us who are fortunate to be in good places in abroad. Kudos to you Dr. Asamoah you're a leader and pathfinder.

@31:05 What I appreciated about Sierra Leone is that we make sure everything is in our currency. There is no option to pay in another currency. Economist say that once a country starts to allow dollars to be used in everyday circulation that is is very hard to reverse so I hope Ghana quickly addresses this or the Cedi will be forever doomed. Liberia has experienced this and USD dominates there. On a wider note, I hope that ECOWAS does not give up on the planned common currency for all of ECOWAS called the Eco which is supposed to launch in 2027.
