She is right. Those big homes that our parents have does not interest the children. That's all over the world. The only people who wants a big house are the ones who never grew up in one. They are high maintenance and takes leasure time away if you own one.

@@mazdee9274 it took 40 years to sell my family's 7 bedroom home in Jamaica. Yes 40 years! it was on the market after our parents died. None of us wanted it because we knew the expense and the time to maintained it plus the hired help which we didn't want to have in our lives. The person who bought it was a friend of my parents. We DO NOT miss that old mansion. We are happy with our small abode.

She is so real and free to talk about her experience in Ghana. I think American raised kids are way smarter than the British raised kids. Jennifer, for relationship wise, l think it's better to stick to the culture you understand better. You shall find a Ghana/ American raised guy with the same culture as you. He has to be a successful person like you. You are a beauty with brains. May God continue to bless you.

I really enjoyed this video, and I can tell Jennifer has gone through pain points of setting up in Ghana 🇬🇭....it is understandable because to Ghanaians, she is a walking dollar sign. I've just returned from Ghana, and honestly, it's beautiful. I would sum Ghana up as perfectly imperfect, vlogs depict Ghana for nightlife and some drone shots of the nice areas. However, the rich live very close to the poor, which creates a breeding ground for jealousy and greed. There is an underlying system of bribery, and absolutely everyone is hustling 24/7. It adds to its charm, but if you sit back and really take it in, you realise that it's because no one is coming to help you in Ghana. Everyone is self-made and hustling to make ends meet. It's a beautiful place, but we have to admit, there is a bribe culture. Your car speaks before you do, and money comes before the man or woman. If you have not grown up in this culture, it is very, very hard to adapt to. Networking is key for the transition, and make sure you have good people around you. Ensure that you have money because if your money runs out, I feel like your network connections will aswell

Interesting points shared, keep up the good work. One thing we have noticed, is that most diaspora's have little clues of any local processes. most think that with $10,000 they can get a 5br villa with a pool. They do not conduct due diligence. just turn up with a few dollars and expect to get the moon. that process leads to heartbreaks

Really enjoyed the interview. You know the one thing I don't think I've heard any interviewer ask is about the difference in realtor fees between the US, Europe and across the African Continent. The other thing is if it's a development in a popular area where you know the property will probably appreciate in value quickly, you don't want to wait 6 months, what options exist there. Other topics I would be interested in include how you determine the quality of the build and reputation of the builder and no one talks about purchasing pre-build pros, cons & discounts.

Unlearning and learning is the key and it takes time. Good to hear about the loss and the positive aspects of her journey. When it comes to relationships the mindset is very different. Her analogy regarding her faith needs to show up in the court system because that's not easy at all. Been there got the T-shirt. Yes the hardest times. So the payoff needs to equate. Big girl panties........ Fight how you need. Just win. You do learn alot about yourself and that's priceless.

There must be some way of finding out the true owner of land before you make a purchase; otherwise this is nothing but chaos. Don't they have a land registry where you can go and ascertain the correct owners of plots of land? I live on a Caribbean Island and we have that set up where anyone can easily determine who owns what.
