I really liked your discussion on selecting the right tuner. I live in the twin cities and I've been impressed with Devin at JM Auto in Maple Grove, MN. Just like you said, that last part of the tune where it's reliable is probably the most important and he's got it down to a science. They focused on Subie engines before the 86 platform came out so their experience with boxer engines is deep. If you ever need a re-tune, look into them.

I got into a car accident with my red eclipse GS-T 2g 1998 with highrise spoiler man made 300hp with 17psi for boost stock turbo was a very fun fwd car and my first every car and first ever manual, it sucks i think about it almost everyday, got hit by a drunk driver driving a stolen uhaul...but now I'm getting my claim money from the company and getting a 2017 silver grey gt86 with that nice front shark looking bumper i can't wait to get my hands on an 86 and go drifting. Man im excited 😂😂

I am not sure there is a solid market for these kind of videos for those chassis. I target my videos for the youth and unfortunately the youth can't afford R32's anymore. Also, I know nothing about those other cars haha. I will slowly start expanding to other topics but for now its GT86! Good ideas tho man I really appreciate the reccomendations.

Im a big fan to of demo runs from back then, team orange, kazama.. I was also a big fan of kumakubo and tanaka also because off subaru. 🤙I love the Brz ! for me its like if a STI and a Schassis had baby 😁 my favorite cars, so cool that subaru made a rwd sports car good for drifting in the end 🔥

Honestly coming from watching drifting for years and drifting on a simulator and all these high hp builds I always looked at low hp drifting as nice for learning but "everybody wants to eventually end up with a high hp, flamboyant, bright car" but the way you both look at it like "it's more fun because it's harder to drive and therefore more sattisfying and if you were to ever break anything it would be simple to fix and pretty much every shop could help you with parts right off the shelves" it a kind of like new spin you gave it for me. I do recognize that one does need more power with the modern heavier cars than on the older style sportscars, but a nice and light car does seem like a very fun option. Given how easy it is to make big power on the modern platforms out today it would seem like kind of a no brainer to go MHD and downpipe or something, but I think you're on to something here and I will explore this further.

Coils, get some spacers, the stock wheels are fine for a while just get rid of that awful wheel gap.
