For many years people have invented cheap and clean renewable energy but as long as people are still making money from oil, it will never be 'allowed' to exist.
@r-ex29458 ай бұрын
This. The fact that they first created plastic which could be recycled(made with oil offcourse) but choose to only go the plastic version which is harder to recylcle because its cheaper says it all.
@roelin3608 ай бұрын
I agree, but this seems to be an overly simplistic view of things nevertheless. There are still plenty of challenges with renewable technology and it seems we're not at the point where it could meet our energy requirements alone. However, it's also true that more research, development and funds and subsidies should be going into making renewables more efficient, but isn't. I think with where our technology currently is, our most promising form of green energy is nuclear, but it's being heavily mitigated by bureaucracy.

@SpaceHippo420 well they have sand and gravity batteries that use dirt sooo... it can be done at least in major storage cases.
@TheFiown8 ай бұрын
@@Puffinugginns Yes the sandbag dynamos are incredible for campers and off grid living. There are many ways to create electricty but none of them make corporations enough money so as long as they can find fossil fuel they will keep using it. Despite what the 'greenies' say, there are hundreds if not thousands of years of fossil fuel underground still. It DOES account for almost 85% of all electricty produced which makes me laugh when they promote electric vehicles that run off electricity produced by fossil fuels !

Why do they always steal incomplete technology in this movies? Like they barely made the reactor works. It's still nessesary to try out the best configuration, including safety measures, blow it up a few times to figure out what pressure it can hold, longtime testing. Stuff like that.

It funny, for as long as I remember everyone was telling me this film was "dumb", how it bombed at the box office, amd is one of the more forgettable films of both Reeves and Freemans careers. Now, years later and when Hollywood is the toilet, such movies as this are finding their audience.

You totally blew it I thought you were going to end the Long-lasting debate about this particular movie. All through this movie they talk about finding the frequency you didn't mention that he Accidentally made a sound and the machine started working it was the frequency, Now everyone skips over that or says it wasn't a frequency that did this why. Because an actual man developed a real machine that uses frequency to burn hydrogen. And this movie somehow knew that this was possible.The person I'm referring to is( John Kanzius. ) real person, He was a retired American inventor and radio engineer who experimented with using radio waves to burn salt water. Kanzius discovered that certain frequencies could release hydrogen gas from salt water, which could then be ignited. The exact frequency used in his experiments varied, but typically it was within the microwave frequency range. Kanzius' work gained attention for its potential applications in alternative energy and medical treatments, particularly for cancer research. His experiments demonstrated an intriguing phenomenon where water could be burned without combustion due to the interaction of radio waves with the salt content in water. A lot of people don't like scary facts like this, How did they know
@IRMacGuyver6 ай бұрын
Kanzius was a fraud and it didn't actually work. Besides this isn't about hydrogen fuel this is about cold fusion. With the cold fusion experiments using sound also having been proven to be fraud. People had proposed that sonoluminescence could be used as a functioning cold fusion device. It doesn't work they way they or this movie claim it did.
