this is true, I myself paint models and its part of the joy, however some people also enjoy just buying the finished model, especially these more military type of models, however its always a hard sell, hope the team can get those beautiful models sold though, quite a very good job done with them!

@@miguelv.p739 Well built 1/34 WW2 models have gone way up in value in the last twenty years. The level of quality I bought in the 2000's went from fifteen bucks to a hundred fifty. Today the market is flooded with third world hack builders that take great photographs.

My brother is a very talented model builder and people pay him to build models of a ship, aircraft, etc. he has some health issues and has a store and he turns away “builds” all the time. So there is a market for built models, but to the right buyer

Pete, a FINISHED tank for $40 isn't an awful price but the whole point of a person paying the high price for a kit is to get the ENJOYMENT of assembling and painting it. Not to buy a finished product which isn't the point of a kit. You might get $5 for the tank and $10 for the display case if you're lucky. It's a shame but most people that like that kind of thing, want to assemble and paint the item.

The elderly gentleman was using the adjective 'your' not in the singular form "relating to you or yourself" as he would if he was directing it solely to Pete , but was using the adjective 'your' in the plural sense as "relating to yourselves" , as in the diseases of humanity , "your diseases" (our diseases) ... not diseases specific to Pete ........... because if he had been , he would not have been surprised and caught off guard when Pete asked him : "What kind of diseases do you think I have" . If the gentleman had meant what YOU said he meant , he would have answered Pete and named diseases he thought Pete had .............. plus , the gentleman said : "that's what foreigners do" .. again , the plural , plurality ....... He , in my opinion , was not aiming his comment at Pete , but was refering to diseases of humanity , which different cultures , tribes , ethnic groups , nationalities , "foreigners" , treat in different ways

Those models are actually pretty cool but im not much into military stuff. While i agree people do enjoy building and painting their models, not everyone does. Ive seen plenty people pay for premade models but i would say that is more for models you will use (such as warhammer)

That type of antler mount is more European, traditionally mounting on a plaque, often in a coat of arms shape. I operated a hunting/guiding/hosting outfit yrs ago. I almost forgot to like, but then I thought I otter do that!

That toy tractor was made by ERTL, which is the company name. It's the company makes most of the farm toys in the stores. It's worth $5 or so, unless it is from the early 80s, then maybe $10. You have to be a tractor geek to know the model, then you can look it up better.

Do research on those models and efind out they area dedicated to those ships and people, then email the VFW or American Legion posts claiming them in some way or another. They usually have displays for them.

Mass produced, pre-finished models tend to have soft detail…so at resale they would have to be very inexpensive. Box kits, like Tamiya or Dragon are a different story….I have built and sold those for $450 to $600.

my uncle made good money selling his elk horns to someone that processed/ground them up and resold them to the chinese for medicine that was used for arthritis and something to do with just the skin itself, cannot remember if it was just skin tone or what now. That little john deere without a closer look resembles to me the ones sold just at tractor supply on that square rack by the entrance that so many use in doing farm dioramas at the farm shows.

I checked, and according to the Skyrim wiki, you can make restore stamina, fortify stamina, and fortify restoration potions with antlers. Mixing with some other ingredients can cause a poisonous effect. I didn't list those here.

"For your diseases" was a figure of speech, a colloquialism. It wasn't personal. For example, a used car salesman might use it to point out features to a potential buyer "You've got you're electric window switch here, your charging plug there, etc"..
