As someone who has frequented the city and lives in the NY Tri-State, New Yorkers have places to be, zero F's are given to anyone that isn't them. If that lady thought a New Yorker would give up their seat for them just like that, they severely underestimated the reason why Sinatra says if you make it there, you'll make it anywhere. Same for that wedding. There are places in the city that are closed off for vehicular traffic to let pedestrians roam...that street isn't one of them. Like I said, New Yorkers have places to be, it is a hub of the working class, they can't sit around all day because someone wants attention for their wedding. Why should a woman be berated for not giving another women their seat, it's selfishness with the audacity to pass it off as a lack of respect or honour on the part of everyone else. These people are the worst, the people who are arrogant or malicious and then have the audacity to delude themselves into thinking they are not at fault. It's the same energy as a group of teenage girls who go out of their way to bully another teenage girl until they commit suicide, then tell themselves that "oh that girl was just unstable, we're the victims" and actually live the rest of their life believing that, and their family also reassuring them they are of no fault. Okay so this case is not as severe as my example, but it's the same energy.

I actually know the person who did the slip and slide video. There’s a good chance that the whole “Karen” encounter was staged. He’s made other videos like this with people telling him off and only happen to take the slip and slide mid slide.
