I got an injury from a resistance band, too. It snapped and rebounded right into my left eye, thankfully was able to convince my mother to take me to the hospital (although I vomited from pain on the way there), and I'm really glad I begged as much as I did, because they said that if we hadn't gone to the hospital when we did there could have been permanent damage. I still have to go to the optometrist once a year to get it checked on. Apparently both me and my brother have very interesting eyes, as optometrists are always so enthused whilst checking them out.
