I've had a Rollin burnout get a little sideways on me before but I can't imagine how terrifying the drag strip was to this guy 😳 😂 1/4 mile of redline burnout from a stand still with all that weight jumping back and forth.... he's one of a kind 👏🏻

8 second quarter mile in the 1970s? Big deal. The Russ Collins CB750-powered Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe motorcycle ran 7.80 seconds at 179 mph in 1973 and was the first bike into the sevens.

Probably didn't have a cooling system. A lot of drag racers ran dry block. They didn't run long enough to be a problem

Allan Millyard did it so much better. His Viper V10 engined motorcycle leaves this pile of junk for dead in quality and engineering. Built with hand tools in a garden shed.
