That bike is a disgrace, worst exhaust you’ve ever seen. The engine is from 2 Suzuki 750. Only Allen could make this bike reliable.

A similar idea was used very successfully for a hill climb bike. Rotax 2 stroke twin was outlawed because of its dominance.

I bought 1976 500 copper color brand new in 78 the last one the dealership had!! Paid $1250.00 for it. I was twenty years old, absolutely loved that bike!! Sold it years later, mistake.

Here I think is the problem. These are all geared toward performance. How about a small 10-15 HP unit for the economy market. An everyday go getter 150+ MPG 55-65 MPH super economy and reliability, easy to maintain. That would be a huge market.

Certainly nothing like I would've expected as a memorial bike for Barry Sheene! 😱 For one, it should've been a two stroke bike, and whoever designed it needs to go back to design school because it looks horrible!🤢

Everyone that met EJ came away with a smile and a story to tell. Only saw him once on the bike at Milan dragway north of Toledo. He was mostly known for tractor pulling when i had a car and could chase after him. Ugly and Big Ugly were the tractor names if I remember correctly. One had an Allison engine, the other one of the rare dual Allison engines. At one time he claimed to own more Allison engines than anyone else. The man didn't believe in painting anything, so his tractors were mostly rust colored or dirt from the last pull. My brother and I took our dad to a tractor pull. EJ comes to the line and my dad offers up that "I know that guy". Turns out my dad had been supplying EJ with clutch packs and advice on the Allison transmission he was running. Around farm country in Michigan, say EJ to anyone of a certain age and the stories start to flow.

Man, water cooled, quality, correctly sized expansion chambers and that thing would be fun to ride. I've had several Kawasaki triples, both 750 and 500 triples. Only down side is air cooled only runs hard for 20 minutes then they need to cool down to hit the power band again.

How does it accelerate faster than a drag car without a wheelie bar? The quickest I can accelerate is limited by how well I can keep the front wheel down.

Oh yeah? Neat. Now, how often do you need to replace the apex seals? Rotaries have been beaten to death. Everyone knows they are light and powerful. They don't tend to be efficient or low maintenance. For every manufacturer to date, this has been a reason to NOT pursue them. I didn't hear or see much about the Achilles' heel of this engine configuration. Good luck.
