I'm told he was upset to not receive a chance for bail and wants to fire his attorney because he can't get the DA to offer him 10 or less years. remembered an episode on Chicago pd where a young black kid was tortured to death because he was registered as a sex offender. but after his death the supposed victim confess that her family framed h8m and the local police never properly investigated his case. so its not that james was wrong but without undisputed evidence someone might kill suspected offender that could be actually innocent. thats why the law cant let james go without some level of punishment
