Wakui always struggled with power system just look at time traveling in Tokyo revengers, Powers have no real reason to exist besides it just happened so suddenly because of a plot device,astro royale have the meteor meanwhile Tokyo revengers have the random hobo who never appears for 200+ chapter.

That webtoon's giant but seemed a little bit unnecessary, Given the fact that they are playing a webtoons with really good art. Like king of the East, Helper, Hardcore leveling Warrior, And the boxer. I guess making a good guy yakuza group is out there but it's not like we haven't seen that before I may remember hit men were born in Jojo's parts 5.

the issue is the police randomly running to a group of child yakuza for help and the author having a weird fixation with this premise of justice gangs. part 5 still showed the extreme downsides of gang culture with the plots point being to defeat the gang to stop the corruption toyko revengers and astro royal always romanticize them while heavily underplaying the realistic downsides of that culture.

Been waiting for this to drop. I didn't have plans to read this before and I definitely won't read it now considering that I already dropped Tokyo revengers less than a quarter through. Honestly speaking the only thing I disagreed with was the webtoon comparison because there's a lot of good webtoon art out there. Especially with examples like 'god a high school' or 'the beginning after the end'. Other than that good video all around.

the manga had good art at the start but the quality is so bad and the writing declines so much you might as well stick to the anime to at least have ok fight animation.
