Right. As country as big as the USA is, people are going to use different terminology from region to region, different vocabulary, different slang, etc. Even a lot of how they speak would be considered a dialect of English, African American Vernacular. “Y’all be trippin’” instead of “you’re all crazy”. Same language, different dialect.

I live in a zone of transition, which means the north of my state has a thick northern accent and the state just across the river has a thick Appalachian accent. Where I live, it’s blended, so if we go north two hours, we get called hicks, and if we go across the river forty minutes, they think we’re from New England (no joke, I had someone down there ask me if I was from Connecticut once). It also means that we can tell where someone is from down to the city. Like, “Oh, he’s deep Kentucky,” or, “You hear how fast she talks? Cleveland.” In college, I had a linguistics professor who wasn’t from the area. He said, “Now, I’ve heard that to all of you, the people south of the bridge sound different.” And we were all like, “Uh… yeah.” Then he blew our minds and said, “To me, people from our town sound exactly the same as those across the bridge.” We were INCENSED! We don’t have thick accents like THEM!!!! It’s soooo obvious which side of the bridge someone is from!!! To this day, I don’t know if he was messing with us or not.

I haven’t spotted this yet in the comments but if you haven’t already been told this please allow me to explain: Yo the car joke is all because before Caitlyn arrived Bruce really ran someone over right before he changed. This was pretty well documented at the time but no one dared to say anything about it. It was the height of the woke time. By the way Caitlyn was like a really weird time cos people were just really not trying to listen at all. You have to understand that people were like freaking out if the name Bruce was mentioned (why won’t you acknowledge her personhood was like a phrase I remember quite clearly). But Matt and trey are those guys, it was brutal delivery and They didn’t attack any groups and the Caitlyn supporter snowflake folks never said a word because it isn’t even a joke really and addressing it would have been smoke they knew they didn’t want. South Park were sort of just flexing here. I remember thinking that these guys were crazy for doing this because everyone was getting cancelled and it felt like everyone was terrified. South Park were basically saying we see you and you know where this goes if you even dare… and nothing. Anyways now y’all know

This is totally peak South Park, and I've been watching every week since middle school in 2006. The serialization was straight revolutionary in SP history, but what I just realized is that the device they use to kick that ball rolling is Kyle's speeches. *"You know, I've learned something today..."* In the early seasons that would always be what resolved the episode's conflict, brought everything back to normal, and in a sense reset the sitcom. But in Stunning And Brave they make Kyle give the wrong speech at the end, and what happens as a consequence is that the issue is left _unresolved,_ so the next episode picks up with Kyle being forced to deal with the thing he pretended to accept, and bringing Caitlyn back to South Park. And here, they actually cut him off in the middle of his g--y little speech; without it, nothing gets settled. Rather than a resolution being found by way of Kyle teaching the town a lesson about prejudice, the issue of Garrison's bigotry only gets more steam, and combines with the previous week's PC problem to go on the road. *"Buckle up, buckaroos!"* Next week, South Park will have to face the fallout of Garrison's un-PC-ness and be labeled a backwards town, leading them to try modernizing via gentrification, which will have further consequences, and so on, as the series unfolds like never before, because each plot compounds instead of resolving. All thanks to Kyle...

Im glad you guys agree that Kyle was done dirty, his friends REALLY pmo this season. Stan wouldn't support supposed Bsf, told kyle last ep. he should take back what he said and he did. Now it went too far and blame him for the current prob? And when Ky defended himself cuz its way bigger issue than him they ignore him? I swear whenever they listen to cartman, they turn just as ignorant as him. It's not even the first time they did that to Ky. So glad their ignorance bit em in the ass. later on in the season, also for ignoring Kyle.

There are only a handful of words that Canadians say and write differently than Americans. The only exception to this would be french-speaking Canadians in Quebec, or on the East coast, which I supposed to be similar to Americans in the South. Seasons 19 and 20 are my absolute favorites! I have loved South Park since I watched the Christmas video tape my cousin showed me. It's not much different than older South Park, so I don't understand the hate these seasons get. The show has always had some story or theme in it, they just stretched it out over a season rather than over a single episode.

my aunt said in a group text last night about gun control and school shootings that it’s already harder to get a gun than a driver’s license because you have to get fingerprinted and then wait for a background check. she ended it with “sorry not sorry”. i couldn’t believe how out of touch and thoughtless she is and i shared the clip of garrison saying sorry not sorry and the later “stank face” clip. i had forgotten about these episodes and seeing the clips made me wish yall would react to this episode and you did!

The Canada episodes are _Canada on Strike_ which parodied the writer's strike, then there is _Christmas in Canada_ where they, "Follow the only road. Follow the only road. If you want to go anywhere in Canada, you just follow the only road!" Y'all already did _Freemium Ain't Free_ which was pretty Canadian, and _Royal Pudding_ was a pretty weak one, but Canadian anyway. The most Canadian episode is the Terrance and Philip April Fool's prank episode _Terrance and Philip: Not Without My Anus_ Season 2 Episode 1. To get the most Canadian exposure possible, you need to watch the movie they made back in 1999. Really would love to see more made in the 90's episodes from you such as _Summer Sucks_ and _The Red Badge of Gayness_ not to mention _Chef Aid_ which prominently features a ton of famous musicians as guest voices and Johnny Cochrane presenting his Chewbacca Defense.

yes, languages can evolve differntly. Put three groups of people speaking the same language on three different islands, come back 100 years later and they'll have slightly different types of the same language.

idk if you watched the Cartman's Mom Is A Dirty Sl*t trilogy, but if you want to watch a Canada episode, you can start there.. it is very important to watch the trilogy in chronological order, otherwise the joke of the Canada episode gets lost and you'll be confused by why it is the best and favorite episode of the creators.. the episodes are called: Cartman's Mom Is A Dirty Sl*t, Terrance And Phillip In Not Without My Anus, Cartman's Mom Is Still A Dirty Sl*t after that i recommend the episode about KZbin: Canada On Strike

"Going Native" is a Butters Episode about Hawaii. Yes. It is stupid and makes no sense. It also sheds some light on how Butters interprets the people around him at school. It also explores his social relationship with Kenny. This specific Episode is also one of the reasons why their Characters are "Shipped" by Fans in-spite of the fact that their Characters are heterosexuals.
