As for context on the noise function on Japanese toilets. A lot of people (mostly ladies from what I was told) got emberassed when others could hear their peeing sounds. To mask this they just started flushing the toilet while peeing. This became common practice, but also resulted in wasteful water usage. This led to the invention of the sound button, so people didn't need to flush anymore to mask the peeing noise. Coincidentally, the noise that plays is always of running water.

1:37 that's not a sewer, they're steam vents. When new york started building sky scrapers, it was really hard to get hot water into the radiators on the top floors, and fireplaces were a bad idea for multiple reasons, so they pumped steam up there for heating. Now there's a spaghetti of steam pipes running all throughout new york, and those vents are there to release pressure to stop them from exploding.

Since I'm seeing no comments about this, the frog eggs at 4:40 are in a gelatinous matrix, which is common for frogs. Heck frogs have some great parents sometimes. What's great about the gelatin stuff is that it provides moisture, protection, and stability. Depending on the species, they stick them on leaves, in the water, on their backs, etc. If you want to look more into this, search up frog reproduction, foam nesting, gelatinous matrix, etc
