It really concerns me when these parents ignore or dont believe their child, when they tell them they saw someone. The guy had plenty of time to leave or take cover, by the time they went to their child's room to look out! Then they ignored numerous occurrences that should have set off alarm bells, after their child's initial complaints! Folks, listen to your kids, and take their fears seriously, or they may just not feel that they can come to you when something goes wrong! That leaves them very vulnerable!

Pamala Washington to be fair tho my two year old comes running out her bedroom upset saying there is a tiger in there 🤷🏻♀️
@pamalawashington93715 жыл бұрын
@@luciejclarke I see your point, but there is a huge difference between saying there is a tiger in his room, and saying there is a man! I know the dangers of having a child who cries wolf, but I would much rather be safe than sorry! I listen to these stories obsessively, and countless times a child was not taken seriously when being stalked, bullied, chased and worse! Sometimes I think it's pure laziness! Some parents dont want to bother with calling the police, when it could very well save their child's sanity or life!

Good topic, I like sleeping with the windows open, but in the back of my mind I wonder if I'll ever wake up to someone peeking in. When I was a around 9 or 10 I saw a flash outside my window, I looked out the window and there was a man outside. He said he was taking a picture of my bed, said he collects pictures of beds. Asked me if I wanted to see his collection. I ran and told my dad, never saw that guy again.

Thanks for bringing up the "Nachtkrabb" I've almost forgotten about that folklore 😅 My parents used to tell me about that thing to deter my brother and me from going out at night.. Legend has it that this giant Bird thing will snag naughty children and drag them off once they step outside in the dark, never to be seen again. Nachtkrabb translates into Nightraven. Its only known in southgermany though since its a dialect thing. "Krabb/Krapp/Rapp" all the same word for ravens or crows. Barely anyone knows that still though since dialects and the culture is dieing out.

@@CatLover-93 in PA there's a similar place called the grave of Mary Black. She was supposedly a witch and was buried in a ring of stone markers in the woods. You're supposed to get cursed if you touch her stone in the middle. I did so while hunting with a couple teenage buddies and visited it with my mom and took pictures. My lever rifle which i unloaded before going home had an extra round in it that failed to eject when i cleaned it and my mom's pictures had crazy anomalies.
