Is Dr Matt actually one of the best vets out there? He seems to successfully operate animals that were deemed helpless again and again like it's nothing
@Tobyexe-zy8mp6 жыл бұрын
Well, I'm sure many animals have died in the clinic, it's just that he probably wouldn't show it because it's sad and wouldn't help him get money to save more animals. Also, most of the animals he takes in are not in super bad condition but the shelters just don't have the time or money to fix them, so they put them down to make room for adoptable, healthy animals.

you are simply amazing, ive worked as a volunteer in the veternarian industry, and i know of no vet that would of gone to that trouble for a stray older dog, this dog without Dr Matt and just as importantly the people who donated would now be dead, instead will now live out its last years getting cuddles on somebodies couch, so you dont have to go to vet school to make a huge difference for animals that would normally have no chance, your donations can save more dogs like McDougall, even $5 will make a difference

Polly g, I agree. My aunt worked as a vet tech for a few years and she saved a deformed chihuahua’s life. The dog’s name was teddy. I never met the dog, but I do know that he was missing one of his front legs. He had a litter mate who was stillborn and the breeder said “Kill all of them.” That’s not the only life she saved. Another dog, a dachshund-miniature pincher mix named Abby, was brought to the office where she was working and was left there. My aunt brought the puppy home with her. Abby eventually ended up with my family and lived until recently, being euthanized at the age of 19. RIP Abby the Dachshund-Miniature Pincher. ❤️❤️❤️

I kinda hate how KZbin practically forces people like Vet Ranch to censor the surgeries. I'd prefer if they didn't have to censor it, it's rather educational to watch, and people kinda know the vets perform surgeries, and most of the time they put a warning on before the surgeries happen so if they still don't like it after the warning then that's them.

If children under age watch they may understand but also could cause problems😨(nightmares)and there are perverted people out there that would jump at the chance to play head games😨😝😨with children so this is why utube is censored🤔🙄🤔

It might be educational to you but not to all the rest of the crowd like kids or other people who cannot deal with scenes that might be disturbing to watch. Instead of you want to get that levels of details you can ask vet ranch to provide you or search from other sources
@childofcascadia5 жыл бұрын
These "wont someone think of the children" responses annoy me. No. Parents need to monitor their young childrens internet, not just plop them in front of youtube. There are apps and options to restrict a child's surfing, or parents can set up a playlist of safe choices. "Children might see it" isnt an excuse for across the board censorship. And besides, some older kids may find biology and medicine interesting. Restricting it for everyone isnt the answer.

Grimsoul Blackheart my dad’s retired law enforcement and frequently had to deal with dogs. One place the other deputies wouldn’t go because of the “meaner than hell” pit bull. Dad had papers to serve there, so off he went. He scoped out the yard, didn’t see the dog. He whistled, no dog. He went to the door and shortly after he knocked, he felt something hit his leg. The pit had snuck up on him. Being the terrible, no good dog that all pits are, this guy came with a weapon! He had a STICK that he THREW at my dad! Such a frightening dog. My dad’s been bit by way more dachshunds than he has any other breed.

Yeah, I know, that sounded childish - but seriously man - you are an inspiration to me, and you're probably only about half my age ;) I hope someday I'll get over these illnesses and somehow get my back fixed so I'm not disabled anymore (I'm a disabled USMC Vet - not combat-related, it was a car accident, and illnesses from volunteering with the Red Cross at Ground Zero, as well as several others which are probably genetic), and I can find a way to take a trip out there to meet you and the family. I'll be bringing my daughter, and my son & his wife & their kids as well. My daughter has wanted to be a Veterinarian most of her life, and I truly believe meeting you and your sister, and seeing how awesome you are and how much you help animals, will inspire her enough to follow her dreams. I'd donate, but I've been without an income for over a decade now, since social security has denied me 10 times... still fighting for it, though! I'm not giving up that easy... Well, I think I should end this mini-novel here... Thanks for sharing these moments with the world, and for being so awesome.

Mary Alamo if you're able to you could always see about volunteering at an animal shelter. I had a friend who wasn't able to have pets so she volunteered at her local shelter. She would walk the dogs, clean cages, help some dogs or cats get used to human contact

Pit bulls are such vicious animals! Look at the way he kept attacking Matt with his tongue after all that hard work he did to make him healthy!!! You can just see the killer instinct in this dog's eyes! We need to get all the pit bulls out of shelters as fast as possible so that no unsuspecting family adopts one of these monsters and ends up with a 50 pound licking machine!!! (Really. Save them all. They're just the pits!)

See, McDougall is the perfect example on why you should always spay and neuter your pets. In addition to helping control the pet population, dogs that are not spayed or neutered are more prone to tumors like this poor little guy has, as well as reproductive cancers and other health risks. On the whole, animals who have been sterilized at an early age tend to live longer, healthier lives. It can also increase their lifespans by an average of one to three years for dogs, and three to five years for cats.
@TWDCx6 жыл бұрын
But if all dogs are neutered how will they reproduce?
@FireCracker32406 жыл бұрын
Because no matter how many responsible pet owners do spay and neuter their pets, there's always going to be irresponsible people who don't. So there will always be unwanted dogs as a result. But we can help lessen those numbers. Those of us who have the common sense and ability to do so should, helping limit the amount of unwanted dogs who end up homeless, in shelters, or euthanized.
@chinchillasarefat79576 жыл бұрын
I mean personality I think there should be more pet population then human 😂😂
