He didn’t disappear, he received a career ending injury.

I mean, he didn't literally disappear lol but injuries caused his career to kind of fade out don’t take it so literal nobody can actually disappear lol
@GodBlessGodBless122713 күн бұрын
I don’t think they’re taking it literal. When someone says a player disappeared from the NBA, we usually take it to mean they just left without any explanation or forewarning or anything. He didn’t disappear in that context because we all know why he’s not playing. I think that’s what they meant.

Brandon Roy was better than half the Hall of Famers we celebrate today his knees just robbed us of seeing it longer. Prime Roy was unstoppable, and that’s a fact... :)

Those Portland teams were on the verge of greatness. Can’t forget rudy Fernandez and Martel Webster, they were loaded
@Phadeaway16 күн бұрын
most definitely can’t forget Rudy Fernandez or Martel Webster. They just didn’t have the impact that Roy did, but they were just as important to the blazers success.

I never thought about that. They do have similar play styles and demeanors !!

He was the best. I used to watch him live. The Laker games were intense. Prime Kobe vs Prime Roy is still the best matchup I’ve ever seen.

You can only play sports for a quick moment in time!
@Phadeaway16 күн бұрын
yeah, you only have a limited amount of time and then throw in possible unpredictable injuries and who knows how long or how short your career will actually be. It’s kind of crazy when you really think about it.

Here in Portland he will always be a Legend. We put B Roy up there with Clyde Drexler, Bill Walton and Damian Lillard.

B. Roy would have won at least three titles if he was healthy. He was a silent Kobe Bryant. Roy is my third favorite player of all time behind Kobe and Jordan.
