at 11:47 I think you had Qxe6+, winning his queen and maybe bishop afterwards

Aaagh, of course, quite right. Well spotted. I even stared at that position for a while.

@@ChessBootCampI only spotted it bc of your pawn fork idea and my learning that if there’s no pawn on f7 the e pawn hangs a lot in my games

Interesting what you said the other day about when playing higher rated players we don’t expect them to make mistakes and, therefore, don’t look for them.

Was about to post this exact comment. I have never watched this channel before, but the algorithm saw fit to offer it to me. Honestly, I found myself extremely frustrated with the misses, but it's probably pretty good insight for me considering our comparable elo.

20:33 NxB KxN Nxp+followed by nxR and your pawns win the endgame. The only thing suspicious about this game was your play. But the first game was fun. thanks for the upload Ben.

To quote Pop Larkin talking about how they chopped Marie Antoinette’s head off, “Well that’s no way to treat a queen… even a French one!”

I totally would have blundered my queen in that first game. Speaking of, I think you had checkmate. At 7:18, would Rxg7+, Kh8, Rxh6# work?
