I tried online dating for a while, as did my late brother. Both of us came to the same conclusions: 1) There are too many women on dating sites who have no intention of actually meeting someone. Their "love life" is wholly online. 2) There are too many women on dating sites who do go out with guys they meet this way--but only one date. It leads nowhere. A string of one dates with random guys is what they go for. 3) There are a few who are genuinely looking for a long term, loving relationship, but you need to be a little bit psychic to figure out which ones they are. 4) You have to wonder sometimes how many of the women on your average dating site actually exist.
