For sure, contrary to popular belief Mazis have been very reliable since like 08 when they go the Zf transmission, but yes Jaags are very reliable as well, and with the new QP the XJ is without a doubt better looking and more fun, but the Maserati has it's own character as well

@@lilmoris1 One word its a Maserati and has a Ferrari v8. Its a unique luxury car because of its blend of sportiness and luxury. The german rivals and british are nothing unique and don't give that same special driving feeling or beautiful noise.

@@lilmoris1 They do but the problem with Germans is the brand is too diluted eg theres a m3,m4 m6 etc cla45, c63, s63 etc. So theres no exclusivity. You see them everywhere. Maserati maintains the exclusivity with limited models/numbers produced ie they only make 4 different cars. Then you add the ferrari v8 into the mix as well as the looks and sound. Its a appealing car to buy.

All these big cars lose 25-30k a year lol, you have to pay to play it's more with the pricier luxury cars and exotics, the G wagon loses 15k a year for comparison sake. If you want something with good resale value go buy an XJ Ultimate, F Type project 7, Jaguar CX75, Maserati MC12, or final edition GranTurismo/last-gen Quattroporte sport GTS has bottomed out if your budget is low you can get a low mileage one for 60k (180k msrp).

After not seeing this show (or any MT show for that matter) for quite a while, I am finding that it has improved the cinematic quality a bit, but the entertainment value and acting has just plummeted. IDK what MT has been doing to cause so many presenters to quit, but they need to figure it out and make some changes if they want to gain popularity and recognition at the same rate that the KZbin channel did initially. Losing Carlos Lagos twice (I think) was a huge blow to Ignition. He was an excellent host and by far had the best acting abilities. I can't remember ever hearing him deliver wooden lines off a script the way Johnny does repeatedly throughout this episode. He also seemed to be great at having natural chemistry with anyone else he shared the screen with. Being able to drift and do mechanic work himself was just the cherry on top. Jason was another huge loss for MT because he brought that chaotic comedy to H2H that the writers/producers are so desperately trying to create in this episode with Jethro. Jason also had much better natural chemistry with Johnny than Jethro does. So many of the interactions and laughs in this episode felt forced and robotically rehearsed. The writing for these shows is great, but just because someone can write a good article, it doesn't mean they can act equally well. Johnny and Jethro actually have very similar personalities, so having either of them try to act the way Jethro does at the ghost town when he drives the massive truck is just not going to work. That entire scene was cringe-worthy because Johnny was also acting out of character by overexplaining something for no apparent reason. He used to do a great job of summarizing and consolidating his tangents during old Ignitions episodes, so seeing him going on, and on, and on with such wooden delivery was weird. I think these shows need to stop trying to emulate the old Top Gear presenters and ideas and stick to what they've always done better than Top Gear which is to be MUCH more informative/honest, much less biased, and refreshingly scientific and thorough by comparison. Include some real world scenario, side-by-side comparison tests after showing footage of the standard tests and just end it at that until you can find another presenter that has chemistry with Johnny the way that Jason/Carlos had. You'll probably still make money doing things the way you seem to be now, but you won't evolve and expand the way you used to.

It was a big mistake to use Chrysler stuff inside the Maserati. What in the world were they thinking? Cheaping out these days means a lot of negative publicity, in a very competitive car world, which translates into bad sales. Such a shame. Their V8s sound really good though.

@Will Buy It I tried out the jag and a 2016 cls63 before going for the Maser. The Jag just looks to much like a ordinary sedan car & the back is particular ugly. The cls63 is nice but mercedes is so common on the roads. The Maserati really feels & looks special and the Ferrari v8 sounds incredible. Its also quite rare and exclusive.

I know you all make much more money by doing the paid subscription thing than you used to make by posting these on KZbin back in the day, but I find it ironic that not long after you all stopped posting episodes on KZbin they changed their focus (and more importantly their pay structure) from exclusively rewarding channels for high outright view counts to being all about video duration and viewer retention (how likely viewers are to watch the whole video and come back later to watch another one), which your videos were very good at doing. It makes me wonder if you all would've changed your minds about creating the whole MTOD service, or at least maybe you would've decided to leave us with most of the episodes and shows that had been uploaded up until that point. I don't mind the decision to prioritize profit since it is a business after all, but I really think it was unnecessary to take down ALL of the old stuff from KZbin... Surely, you could've simply had those episodes available on both services and just released anything from that point on exclusively on MTOD.
