I remember when i was in the third grade, i got that letter which said "oh yeah there's lice at your school" And i was scared. Anyways about a month later I forgot my hat and "neck warmer" at home and the head lice pandemic wasn't over yet. It was the middle of the winter. IN CANADA. SO the teacher asked if I wanted to borrow a hat and i said no. I froze during that recess and had to stay home from school the next day. Also the girl who had head lice decided to come forward and admit that she had it like 3 months later and looking back at it; she had NOTHING to gain from telling everyone

I literally struggled with lice for probably 6 months. Started around my 14th birthday last year. We kept using shampoos and lice stuff but they kePT COMING BACK. So eventually back this May we went to a professional lice removal place and they took care of it. Dad gum those little buggers. (Lice, despite being embarrassing, is nothing to be ashamed of and they don’t signify anything. :D)

I hated having head lice as a kid. My hair is so thick, I have so much hair, and I'm pretty sure bugs just like my blood because mosquitoes are all attracted to me a bunch too. They mainly attacked me, not my brother or sister as much, and that's probably why. We did it all, but the thing that finally worked was mayonnaise, my mom soaked my hair in mayonnaise almost every night for like 3 weeks and that finished the bulk of it. It did a lot of damage though, I had to cut my hair, make sure we prevented it more afterwards, and I had major anxiety everytime I had an itch on my head for the next 3 years. That experience wasn't fun

I got lice once, about a year or two ago. When we found out, we bleached my hair, used tea tree shampoo and conditioner, slaved over the table for hours combing the lice out, used chemical treatment, blow dried my hair every time I had a shower( for heat), and ironed my hair to kill them with heat. They were gone in three days. I never felt so victorious

When I was in middle school I had baby sat a kid with lice. My mother didn’t believe me when I said I had it and it grew to an infestation! School nurse said it was the worse she had ever seen... my neglectful mom didn’t do anything til the third time I was sent home. Head lice is the worst. I had it all throughout different times in middle school and I ended up being out for weeks at a time because it would keep coming back even after my parents tried so hard to get rid it of it between me and my sister. We tried everything from home remedies to special lice products (nothing really worked) until my wonderful principal (Thanks Dr Bloom 🙂) decided to cover the first round of treatment at this very nice place and it was afterwards that I was officially lice free. I think he felt bad that I was missing a lot of school and the fact that we were trying everything to get rid of it that he decided to pitch in and help us.. Which I'm super thankful for.

I had lice too, the first time I didn't treat it as much of a problem, I was only like 4 or 5 years old, but the second time it was this same year, got them gone the end of the second to last week of last month, but that time, it felt more uncomfortable for my mind, so, I'm really interested in Total DramaRama, and last year, Cartoon Network aired an episode of it that scared me, from where I'm going you know what it's about, LICE!!! I was making a Total DramaRama in a nutshell series, and this was the first episode I intended to make a nutshell of, but my mind refused. The episode was about the kids were just minding there own business, than ganster lice showed up and started an all out WAR, the kids were so upset and hurt, I never wanted it to happen to them ever again (to me, in real life there my friends and look up to me (mainly because of the height difference)), everything was going fine for a while, but than one day at school (it started BEFORE the quarantine, but I found out AFTER it started (the quarantine, NOT the lice)) my head started itching, I treated it like nothing, but than I couldn't take it much anymore, so I had my mom look through my hair and, it happened, it turned out I had lice, but life isn't Total DramaRama (spoiler alert), SO A MONKEY DIDN'T JUST RUN IN SHAVE ME BALD AND THAN EAT THE LICE!!!!! I was so upset, than I thought "What about the kids, they handled this before, but they didn't do it well" I didn't want to end up accidentally amaging I infected them, so I avoided those inmaginare kids like the plage until the lice were gone, there was no way I was going to have the kids suffer from it a SECOND time, even on my channel, I didn't ignolage them, I posted Pokemon instead, because they never had any crazy like a Pokemon themed after LICE (Joltic doesn't count that's a TICK), but for a while it did ruin my Sword plans, I was planning on using a Blibug, got the lice later on, didn't want to use one anymore, this whole experience made me miss at bit of TDR, and it ruined bug type Pokemon for me

There is this shampoo like thing, you apply it, wait for about 30 minutes then rinse it while combing with one of those extremely thin combs. It destroyed head lice, every time.

My parents: use lavender shampoo and conditioner in my hair Luvie's parents: use electric comb where it will the get stuck in knots in the hair and shock her repeatedly. GREAT idea!

I got lice a couple times as a kid and I remember my mom and I were up late into the night brushing out my hair in the hopes that we could zap the little things off. After a few long and painful hours we found out my hair was too thin for the comb. I bawled my eyes out lol

Sooooooooo, I'm from England and I dont know if this is the same in any other countries, but EVERY TIME there was a rumour that someone had head lice, my school would send out a slip of paper about how to "treat" head lice and then the whole school would start discussing who might have the DREADED HEAD LICE. Man those were dark times. And also, according to this kid's science magazine that I used to read, head lice DO like clean hair. Idk why but apparently they do :)

Well i mean thats one way, I just overcombed with lice combs and kept ripping out my hair while scratching and getting blood and lice eggs on my fingers and would take hella hot showers etc. It sucked tho cause its like you FEEL it crawling. This was a couple monthes ago and now my hair sucks and is dead and I'm tryna fix it.
