Good job! As far as for Hunting or Varmint control, the experienced airgunners seem to have the consensus that the 22 caliber model 1322 is the right one to go with.

Nice Head to Head. Thanks. I have an older 1377 with the brass bolt. It has aftermarket grips, a larger pumping arm, (I have big mitts) and a red dot. A very sweet trigger and really accurate.

I'm having all kinds of fun with the 1377, I did do the return spring mod and wow, I don't have a gauge but I'm convinced that it cut the pull in half! 😮 I wish all triggers were that easy to mess with! Got lucky no polish necessary! Just a good clean break! Thanks for sharing that info with everybody! It's something anybody can do! ❤

I just got my 1322 today! I had one when I was growing up and I really liked it for plinking my around out back. They didn't have anything for mods or accessories back then that I know of...at least nothing I had access to. I'm looking forward to decking this one out!! 😁

Great job on the video! I changed my 1322 to using the gamo hunter pellets here recently and it will put 10 out of 10 in the same hole, it shocked me LOL I only pump 4 pumps myself but that's because I can't pump over 4 being disabled I just don't have the strength.

I have a 1377 that I heavily modified, ported valve, flat piston and the works. I just bought a new 1322 and I’m doing a similar build on it. I have a flat top piston and valve for it too, I’m also going to try an aluminum breech ( I’ve only every had steel breeches on all my crosmans). I was bummed out though when I went to order a 2289 backpacker pump handle grip and found that they don’t make them anymore. That pump handle that came on the backpacker is wider and fits the hand so much better it also feels a lot more solid, it used to be the first thing I’d do to a crosman pump pistol. I did find that Alchemy Airwerks sells a wood copy of that foregrip so purchased it and stained it black. I really like the pumpers I usually make them carbines with the crosman stock. What do you use for a target camera? My target is too far for me to see where I hit.

@@rogerblake843 I didn’t mention anything about cameras so I’m assuming you’re directing that towards Nibs. Either way, I use a spotting scope with a phone attachment to see my target. That way I can have it right next to me while shooting and glance over and see my shots. Then I can easily record if I want to. Celestron makes the phone mount I use.

I weight grade my pellets. I have seen a .5+ grain variance in a can of pellets with some going as high as 1 grain + or -. This can cause fliers especially with the lighter pellets. It takes some time to sort the pellets by weight, but it does take that factor out of the equation.

Almost bought one in 22cal but just when I was goin to order, I saw one that is far better the Artemis CP1 or CP2 hold a 10shot mag, bolt action CO2 not pump and same price and same as this one it's customable like crazyyyy, so maybe in a few months I will ad a 1322 to my collection, + CP1 is metal and real wood !!! Not plastic immitation

Hi Nibbs, I notice that you are using a pellet that is heavy for the caliber in .22 at 16.51 grains. Your .177 pellets are in the lighter category at 7.1 grains. Maybe you should try a heavier .177 pellet? Maybe in the 10 grain category? I have a 1377 I bought new in 1985. I have shot the begeebers out of it; lots of fun! I'm embarrassed to say that I have shot thousands of BB's through it. (That might have been hard on the rifling.) Do you have the Crosman stocks that fit these pistols? The stock makes these even more accurate (flip the rear sight over to the peep sight). I do enjoy your videos. R, Steve

What target camera are you using. I have my target set about 23 feet, but I can't see where I hit unless I cross the room. I would like to set up a Bluetooth camera linked to a tablet to where they hit. Thanks for doing these. I would like to see more of them where you take them apart.

My 1377 shoots high even with the rear sight adjusted to the lowest. Anyone out there with the same issue? Any solution?

You would have been better off with six pumps, rather than four. I have one 1377, and two 1322s, and three 2240s, two of which have been customized. I much prefer the ;22s. The 1377 and a 1322 are original guns, from the '70s, which makes them collector items now and I will be getting rid of them.
