I love the classic 13xx series, very accurate and even better with some of the popular mods. over the years i've had a few different models. I've held on to three of them, a 2250b Rat-Catcher which I made my own version of the metal 'Clevercraft' scope mount and modded internals, modded 1377 with stock ect. and a 1322 which is also modified. They are a lot of fun for folks who like to tinker and there are so many after market parts, upgrades and so on, you could spend a small fortune if you're not carefull LOL! Thank you.

always fun to watch your videos , you can tap and thread those old bolts, when you look into getting a different breach make sure you get the breech that places that hole out of the way of the loading chamber. it helps with the loading , a lot of people fill that area with a little wax to take out the indentation from the screw so pellets load better.

There are multi pump shooters that advocate storing that type of air gun with one or two pumps in the system as a way to keep dirt from getting into the system. Tom Gaylord is an example. But, though Crosmans can be stored that way without having to cock them, Daisy's can't. And leaving a 901 or 880 cycles doesn't sound like a good idea. You have got an exceptionally accurate 1377 there, my friend. A keeper for sure.
@dens6987 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, the 1377 is a cool little Pistol I have two; one is still a Pistol, but the other, I added the Crosman 1399 Stock I love shooting that 1377-99 Carbine It works great with the Pee end of the Sight up I extended the Adjustment Notch, and scored the Face of the Rear Sight Blade to give me a Zero at longer Range, and a Scale to keep track of different Elevations Enjoy your 1377
@jasonnealey8325 Жыл бұрын
I like to paint the front blade white or brass it really helps , once you put that blade on a flat black target it disappears so easy .
@dscinaz Жыл бұрын
Travis, If you haven't already tried this, then this will give you an entirely different way to shoot your 1377. It goes like this: 1. set the rear sight to aperture. 2. hold the gun with both hands. 3. press the gun against your face. The butt will rest against your face, so you can see through the peep. The butt presses against your skull, so it is as stable as your head. You use your other hand, (as required) to stabilize the muzzle. You can hold your elbows against your side as necessary to further stabilize your arms. 4. aim and fire. A hold like this does away with any instability that arises from holding the gun out in space. Another thing I like is that with an aperture sight, you don't have anything to line up; your eye centers in the aperture without thinking about it. I've tried this in the garage with my 1377, but not outdoors at distance. It's different, but it works, and is a whole lot more accurate than any other non-rested hold I might use. This is still a pistol with a short sight-radius, so typical groups won't compare to a scoped gun. There is another downside that's obvious. You are committed to this scheme until you change the rear sight back to the notch, so keep a screwdriver handy. Doug

Hello. MR TRAVIS. Good afternoon. I just got that. other. 1322. I ordered. I was having some trouble getting sighted in hitting on target. That being a 4 inch circle at. 40 ft with a 14.3 lead premier. Hollow. It was shooting high. & I remembered what one fellow said about that rear sight .... has to be super tight to keep rear sight from getting bumped. , well I did that & it pulled down the rear sight & now it's hitting dead on it ! I never thought about tightening the rear sight down more but it worked !!

I'm really into my 1377 as of late. I've compressed the trigger spring, half-a*sed polished the trigger sear, and mounted a low cost reflex sight. My gun's biggest limitation is me for sure, but I've found it crazy accurate. My copy does really well with RWS Meisterkugeln at 8.2 gr, RWS Diabolo Basic at 7 gr, and a few others that escape me at the moment. There are so many fun things you can do with these things, that it's a definite hazard to the pocket book. I recently picked up the Crosman 2240 (the 1377's and 1322's Co2 cousin) and will be converting it to .177. Another great pistol to have fun with. The rabbit hole is real folk, beware. 😆

I like spending the money. Still not where I would like to be for accuracy though. I am shooting at 25 yards and 10 shot groups always end up around 1 3/4". At 10 yards they are dead on.

Very tempted to leave my 1322 a pistol, but Nib's video convinced me into getting an 18in barrel for the 2240, so I'll move the 14.6in barrel to the 1322. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the flattop piston and valve? Plus, there's a modded valve version out there as well. I'm trying to decide which direction I want to go.

I just got this pistol and the bolt is really loose but it shoots. If I turn the gun upside down the bolt handle will not stay in the closed position. Whether it is cocked or uncocked it just flops around. I don't know if that is normal. It is accurate though.
@Jay-dl4vk Жыл бұрын

hey so i have a scope a true glow one it is not shock proof or what ever they call it but i was wondering is a nitro piston considered a springer bc i have a crosman fire and its a nitro piston and i was wondering will the true glow be able to withstand a nitro piston ive had it for a year and it has not broke and im also wondering will the scope work with a black ops sniper S which im pretty positive it is a gas piston or nitro cant remember the scopes model is truebrite xtreme tactical compact rifle scope 4x32mm
@ohshoot444 Жыл бұрын
It will probably wreck it. Nitro pistons have a little less vibration though. I've found that proper ring replacement and torque help out a lot.

@@ohshoot444 the biggest issue with this pistol in my opinion is the hand pinch issues last weekend I went out with some friends and my buddy loaned his pistol to his friend after rhe 3rd pump he pinched his hand between arm and pump tube , I scolded my buddy because I think whenever you hand this unit to someone you should caution about the hand pinch possibility, he ended up with a blood blister and probably won't shoot a pumper again , I bought a 3d print arm and grip , not from Buckrail-line even though I love Terry's products and support his endeavors fully , I got the target grips which completely eliminated the hand pinch and made it significantly easier to pump , I also replaced the breech with brass which somehow also reduces perceived pump effort , I thing it's from my pump style where I'm dropping the top half onto the pump arm rather than pushing the arm toward the body of the pistol . I have also used a little uv resin to secure a fiber optic , for me it makes for better accuracy because I can drop the front blade between the forks of the rear sight till just the dot of the fiber optic is visible with no other part of the blade visible in the forks I believe it gives me the ability for a repeatable sight position better than leveling the blade in the forks .

Id guess this is steel breech bolt wich does come stock on the target guns! I just crushed my 2240 trigga springy and I will need to get my 1377 carbine out for the same treatment for sure. My honest opinion about the 13XX is that it is a bit heavy as a pistol and the 2240 feels better in this configuration... But I really like the self sufficient side of it and how mine feel & looks now with the Buck Rail extras! _I do believe you can cock them afterwards but ive been doing the same thing because people said you needed to cock them first_ (Wich was mostly true back in the days)

Doing just fine with it as a pistol! How much would you expect to pay for one new? There is a hardware store near me that has one, however they seem to want a lot for it! Over $70.00. If you want a real pistol you can shoot, get some kind of 1911 platform. Between my Rock Island A1 9mm, Uberti 1873 and Springfield XD45, I shoot the 1911 the best. Way better! Actually hit a 10" plate at 50 yards with consistency! Took 3 or 4 rounds to find it but man, after I did it was the same hold every time!Happy Easter to you and yours!
@ohshoot444 Жыл бұрын
You can find them on sale for under $50. I'd ask the hardware store if they'd consider matching a price on like amazon and that you'd rather support them or get it from them in the hopes that they will start selling airguns. My local gun store has almost doubled prices sometimes and I have ask them if they would consider a lower amount. Most guys will. If not oh well.
