Bukhara is pronounced more like “BO-kha-ra” with the kh made in the back of your throat. It’s a city in Uzbekistan (my husband was born in Uzb) 😄 and the notes don’t surprise me because it was one of the important centers along the Silk Road where spices were traded. Also, the fruit in Uzbekistan is soooo delicious so the black currant/peach opening makes sense!

oh i love magenta tanzanite but it's sooooooo expensive. i often walk through the dept store across the st and use the tester all the time, the sales people definitely hate me. such a nice holiday fragrance. it reminds me a bit of tobacco vanille without the heavy christmas spice.

I often use hair masks at least once a week. My favs are ColorWow Money Mask and Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair. I try to use sulphate free brands for shampoo and conditioner, I mostly use Redken or Briogeo.

I wouldn’t say Camomile Satin is a safe blind buy as it reads a little different on my skin vs the notes. I absolutely love it but it’s a green, almost smoky vanilla on me but I don’t know if others will experience the same

I agree about Scherzo, while Hibiscus Mahajad is too loud and tiring to me. Today I'm testing a sample of Ame du Couer by Les Liquides Imaginaire and I find it intoxicating, though peppery, so it could be overwhelming too.

I live in The Netherlands. People are so down to earth and cold here, they don't even look at you twice. Much less give you a compliment lol.

Yeah it really does varies from location to location but also who you are surrounded with. I am often in perfume shops or at events so that is when a compliment is more likely to happen. Or close to someone like the hairdressers etc

Venom Incarnat is so sexy, yes. Love it. I also liked Magenta Tanzanite when testing it,, however it is so expensive :( i heard it would not perform very well ..Ormond Jayne so far has been difficult to me..

Love your reviews . Am I the only one who gets a gasoline note in Hibiscus Mahajad ?!!I have tried to like that perfume but I can’t - reminds me of a car workshop and makes me nauseous . Thank God spent only on a sample.
