I'm a Muslim woman and I have both physical and spiritual reasons to wear hijab. To be modest and to give a sign that protects me from unwanted attention from men, and more importantly for the spiritual reason you're talking about in this video, I think women need extra protection because we receive more energy than men. I believe that God wouldn't tell us to do something without a reason, and it saddens me that most people see it as a form of oppression against women, I actually think it's empowering to have control over what you reveal of your body.

I have been getting drawn to head coverings the past week and just before I got on KZbin I wrapped my head up with hyssop tucked in… not even 5mins later I open the KZbin app and see this video was just posted. I have to cover my head also because I'm super sensitive to energies and have learned the hard way that I need it for spiritual protection. I can literally feel the shift when I cover my head in a crowded place, or area filled with spirit activity. I get annoyed sometimes because I love my hair and like to let it flow when I'm out sometimes so covering my head is more of a necessity then fashion for me.

I know to some this may not be a spiritual covering then again maybe some thinks as I do. I cover my head with hats and scarfs as a form of spiritual protection but when I go to work I wear wigs as my spiritual protection. My head is always covered with something.

I once had a prayer session wrapped in red shawl / wrap and it was so intense. Abit like the hijab from Middle East that the ladies there dress in. It felt like being in a cacoon of protection, and was so focused on my prayers, I got some miraculous answers after that. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Now, when you wear a Hooded poncho and go to the alter you know you are going to be all zoned in and nothing will distruct you, as your auric field is protected and helps with centring the energy. I also cover. I got the call when the Paris atracks happened 6yrs ago. I got a very definite "cover your head before turning on the tv" and did so. I then attended the Parliament of World Religions that fall and it was cemented within me. I was not raised to cover my head but boy do I feel closer to Spirit and much more centered when i do!!
