Headed to the lake with my Tracker Grizzly! Hang on Red, you might blow out! What can I catch?

Now that the creeks are starting to shut down, and we have had rain for the past 4 days here in Tennessee, I decided to head to the lake with my little Tracker Grizzly! Hang on Red, you might blow out!! This little Grizzly is FAST! No...Not really!! My fishing graph is current "out of order", but we ended up having a fun day on the lake, catching crappie, skipjack, bream & yellow bass. I've got my work cut out for me learning how to fish the lakes. I'm already missing the creeks.

Hey Trey, nice outing. you've caught #4,5 and 6 crappie of the year, pretty funny how you can remember these. While I was watching, I thought I only caught 1 for the year, but then I remember another one in April, then another one in Sept and a few more in August. thanks for helping me remember.

The grizzly is great little boat, but it just spooks me around big boats because it drafts really low in the water, but I got a good deal on the boat & trailer for $2500. @@fishsmack My little boat gets my attention sometimes when I am in bigger water, it does not do well with wakes from other boats or whitecaps, which is why I watch the weather and stay off the lakes with water skiers -

I'm with you there Mr. John. I would stay in the creeks year round if I could. I'm going to try and find some better trout streams here that I can fish in this winter. Are the trout pretty active there in the shallower creeks during winter, or do they push out to deeper waters?

I'm with Mr. Dan. That's what makes creek fishing so much easier...there's only so many place they can go, and they are confined to smaller pockets. We use to have some really big skipjack here, but their numbers are down now. They are fun to catch. My graph is currently down, so I was sight fishing, and that's the open thing I could spot! 😅😆 Did I ever get your name?

I could load you up! We use to have tons here, but they have been over fished here the last couple years. We use to go out and could catch them one after another. Our creel limit is 100 per day, per person. That's why the number have dropped so drastically. I spoke with one of our creel officers, and he said people were coming from 6 states over to load up on bait.

It's a great little boat, but it just spooks me around big boats because it drafts really low in the water. I had a couple wakeboard boats this summer that I thought they were going to sink me. On the positive side, I can take this in some really shallow creeks. I got pretty luck and found the boat and trailer for $2500. Congrats on the house!!! That will be awesome. How is going Mr. Matt? It's not bad at all right now. Unfortunately, the only time I fell safe enough on the water is between now and February. This boat is small, and it drafts really low in the water, so I have to wait until all the bigger boats are off the lake. Come January, I will look like the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man with the amount of clothes I'll be wearing!! 😆
