Watching you play this in the demo was way more entertaining than actually playing it. I figured it was hard due to how you play normally. Not even close. You ALWAYS want to stop the train and shut off the engine so that you have positive power. The drones are faster than you anyway so you only manage to drain the batteries faster and no power means more damage/death. The drones are easy to handle in each one of the spots if you can keep firing, once you have to stop firing to get power for the weapon they start tearing the train apart. They tear the train apart the same if it is moving or stopped. Also the loot is strung out requiring you to wander around to gather it up.

I think you should replace the wall corners in the very front with window corners so you can see better out of the front instead of dodging around the motor to look out the window

If you use lower throttle you have a higher efficiency(power drained/distance traveled). It also gives you more time to hit the dynamo to keep power storage up.

The fission generator, dynamo, and engine take durability damage from just using them.... You do seem to get more power from the dynamo when you don't miss though.

You should save your refined fission fuel outside the Train Stations (stations charge your train anyway for free) for when and if you are caught without power in the wild. especially if you get attacked by drones and you run out of energy ammo.

that engine is blocking your view, it doesn't actually have to be up front, you missed plenty of plants cus of your field of view.

pro tip you have a radar at the top of you screen it highlights when enemies are near the moment you see drones STOP THE TRAIN turn off the train so you don't waste power man the gun, train doesn;'t need to be on for stuff to work so you will get the +50/min energy as long as you aren't spaying and praying that passive Regen is more then enough to kill anything that comes at you

The reason why you didn't have the problem with the dynamo in the demo, GM, was because they hadn't activated the degradation function yet. I wonder if it can be deactivated in a menu... it's exceedingly irritating.

the game feels really punishing, sometimes hard to watch / frustrating to watch even. the damage to tools / constructions needs some serious balancing as it will slow down construction pretty quickly.

Those storage containers are WAY too small. The dev is a bit of a sadist, I'm enjoying watching the gameplay but man it just looks painful to play.

"A bit" is an understatement. I guess the dev just assumes 90% of players are masochists that enjoy being punished by harsh mechanics that are illogical. I suppose everything in this universe is made out of cardboard, because it breaks after like 7 uses and starts to degrade within minutes of being turned on.

He can, but it requires other materials to do so, which means making advanced components is only really useful when you have a surplus (because they can't really be used on their own)

They messed up making it a fission reactor, honestly, because the rate it acumulates waste and such is nonsensical. It would be much easier to ignore such things if it were a fusion reactor instead, simce those do generate much more waste and would require more upkeep.

he should've built the farming stuff last episode instead of the heater thats why the game literally gave him everything to build a farming setup. this game is VERY on rails and has a build order the next station is when you build the heater its at that station the game give your all the parts to make a heater then

That's true, but it's also what's killing this game. Nobody wants to play the game on rails and it's just a gut punch when you see all the other cool stuff you coild be doing. They have a cool concept, but the dev seems to have very little idea how to structure it properly or balance the game.

Dude you really need to stop sprinting around the place as that’s what killing you most of the as you’re constantly draining your stamina. It’s almost like you’re trying to speed run the game or something rather than taking the time to properly explore your surroundings. I think this would be a great game to watch but half the time you’re just flying around like mad man 😢

Not a very good game. Very clunky mechanics. Few resources. Building is boring to say the least. Just another single player survival. This would have been more fun by building a way bigger train with people auto cannons etc.
