On the surface this song is supposed to kick off the game’s story of the Jackalope as an outlaw who just keeps driving nonstop, but once you have the context you can see the lyrics are actually more twisted: it’s the Devil ordering the Jackalope to keep on driving and amuse him in the process, while also telling him to keep running and avoiding his fears through certain ways of escapism, as well as hoping he won’t figure out how to get out of the loop.
