Is the boat too wide to slide into the bed inflated and support it with a bed extender? Could you partially deflate it to make it fit while maintaining enough support to rest on a bed extender?

It’s too big for my truck bed if I inflate or partially inflated the boat even with the extender. I didn’t want to risk it on driving in the road. I have a hitch basket and deflated and just strapped on in the basket. Then I just inflated when I get to my destination

Of you left it inflated in garage and kept it inflated during transport to water, would it lose any pressure?...so, how many days would it stay at correct psi?

I always deflated and let it dried off within a day. Then fold up and put on a shelf. I have yet left it inflated for a long period of time due to limited space

Okay thanks for info. I'm in Tampa bay area also and am concerned of how it would do in the high heat and humidity, as I would like to leave inflated and transport in a truck bed.

I plan to buy this for my self solo fishing trips do you think I can manage launching by my self With maybe a home made cart how heavy do you think it is?
@Yololife8132 жыл бұрын
I had launched by myself a few time. The transom wheels made a big difference. It’s quite heavy when you deflated and fold it and try to lift into a truck by yourself. I think it’s right around 130-150lb. Highly recommend the wheels

@@Yololife813 wow that’s a tank of a boat. There is another model mk470 15’ weights 108lbs do you think that weight is manageable? Or there’s one other Saturn that is 80lbs heat welded what you recommend for me solo. Ya I can make a dolly cart diy
