Really wanting to get something like this. Torn between the different models. Since I’m going to be fishing off mine, I like the extra protection on top of the tubes of this version. But I like the double pvc layers on bottom of the other Mars Heavy Duty. Also torn between 13ft size and the larger ones. I think occasionally I would have two people fishing off of it. The 13ft looks a little tight for two people fishing

Long shot here since it's two years down the road, but how has this held up? I'm casually looking at this model (or the new FKB430), and would value the opinion of someone who's had one for a while.

@@willmiedema1767 i have used prob half a dozen time . It s just getting heavy for one men . But the only thing that doesn’t hold up is the fishing rods holders that came with it. Glue came off just after several used glad I didn’t have my rod in there when it came off.

Can one person load with your new transoms loading wheels? What’s the weight of the inflatable when it’s full of air? Looks great!

Yeah I loaded it myself a few times. But it’s getting heavy for one person. Don’t pick the whole thing up. I rest it on my trucks bed gate on one end then lift the other end to load in. About 130-150lbs

I bought my Saturn 16 ft sd488 for over 2300 dollars amd didn’t get the protection on top of mine wondering how much you paid for yours tho Saturn say’s heavy duty but only some are tho don’t understand why they didn’t put the extra protection on top of there boats that cost over 2000 dollars tho hmmm might change to bris tho got way stronger dimgys amd thicker tho

How much HP is your motor ? Is 10HP enough for this 14’ with 4-5 adults ?

I have a 9.8 HP now. You may want 15 or 20hp if you have 4-5 people. Put on the hydrofoil My boat max HP is 15hp

Love it. Got a lot of compliments wherever I go. Up the river, springs and sand bars. 6 hp should get u on plane depending on loads too

Yes it was.so were the tubes and keels. All I had was the cheap hand pump that came with the boat. The pump has no gauge on it. I have since got the power pump with psi build in. Work great now.
