That was a great little documentary on wild horse behavior. I enjoyed seeing Horizon and his girls and the batchlors in action.

Oh my Pride is all grown up and very handsome. I'm sad to see that Galaxy is still a bachelor. Both the youngins look strong and healthy, I hadn't seen any videos with Ruby since she was a month or so old. He Who looks pregnant himself! Thank you so much for sharing and identifying all the horses :0)

Pride sure has grown up! He is a beauty. It is interesting with Galaxy. He seems very content with his role as a bachelor stallion. He looks much more robust too. I don't think it is easy for the stallions to run large bands. Nice to be able to show Ruby. She is so beautiful!

Pryor Wild ~ I have read about so many band stallions not handling a 2nd bachelorhood well and very few that have. With Galaxy being my favorite of the black/darkest horses I am glad to see him still going and healthy. He was such a grand band stallion I didn't think he would remain a bachelor for long or he would not handle it well like so many others. With his band broken up and his mares spread out between so many different stallions now, that's A LOT of fights he would have to endure to get his family back. It would be nice to see him with a small one or two mare band, much less stressful and he could still carry on his bloodline. I'm happy for Mato Ska to have an actual band now, even if they were Galaxy's - he's only had Gaelic Princess for some time. I'm very interested on which mare or mares trigger Pride's fancy when his time comes to have his own band.

Can you post a link to a page that explains the naming convention for these horses? I think the first letter indicates the year of their birth, with 'A' = 2000. Thanks.
