How fast does the FDA or any other federal program move compared to Europe? How fast does a Slug crawl? You could be on your death bed and they would be saying "We have the cure; but it isn't approved yet!), But, a portion of our government does really good, and that would be National Response and for catastrophes across the nation from State, County, Town, or in the Woods & Sea, Mountains too! I live fairly close to Mt Rainier National Park, 40 minutes to Carbon River Entrance by car in Washington State, USA! And more than once I have seen the Chinook Helicopters, usually only one, from Fort Lewis in Washington State USA to go do a rescue mission and the elevation of that mountain taxes the limits of a helicopter because the air thins out the higher you go- no lift & only our government has the stuff to do the job! Most of the cool shit we have is because of our government and how it invented and shaped the development from below the seas to the moon; our military Army, Navy, Airforce, Coast Guard! Nasa! Infrastructure from our utilities like sewer, water, power, roads, Police, Nuclear bombs to end a war and only God knows what else they all do! Yes, every crisis is different and we see them on the news at their best and worst, nothing to laugh at here, but what is it with the buearacracy, internal affiars, politics & politicians down to the pencil pusher hiding in his cubicle thankful for a job knowing that if he never showed up tomorrow and after- no one would miss him! Long story short; top quality LED's are far superior than anything DOT has ever seen. It might also be worth pointing out that HR and Morimoto are affiliated. It's hard to separate the marketing from the instrumented testing at times. I also think you're missing a valuable point on the 2Stroke: the circulation of the hot *air* probably might mean reduced risk of condensation in the housing since it'll act as a dessicant (desiccant?). Do I need anti flickers with 2 stroke 4.0 on a 2020 Kia Stinger? I just purchased them without it.
@HeadlightRevolution5 күн бұрын
For your 2020 Kia Stinger, determining the need for anti-flicker modules with the 2Stroke 4.0 LED bulbs largely depends on how you intend to use the bulbs. If you’re using the LEDs for your fog lights, you likely won’t need anti-flicker modules, as flickering issues are rare in fog light applications. However, if the bulbs are intended for your low or high beams and these beams also function as daytime running lights (DRLs), you may need the modules. DRL circuits often operate at lower voltages than regular beams, which can trigger flickering. Although flickering issues are more common in American brands like Chrysler or Ford, the Stinger could still experience flickering with DRLs, and in that case, a PWM or anti-flicker module would help ensure stable operation.

Osram and Philips managed to make H7, H4 and H1 retrofit LED bulbs that are street legal for many cars and motorcycles in Germany and other places in Europe but every headlight has to be certified in combination with the new led bulb. And as fas as I know all the Cars these are legal for have reflector headlights. Osram and Philips did not manage to make (universal fitting) led bulbs for projector housings. Ya know, I still have my two pairs of SV4's, and though the Ultra 2's perform a bit better, I'm actually a bit disappointed by the 2Stroke4.0's... I would have thought all that advancement would have resulted in being able to push the array's harder, and generate more light, but I guess not; and its weird, because on flashlight videos, I'm usually the guy commenting about bounceback, and how its getting to a point where flashlights make too much light for their throw and are starting to create more problems than they fix. But higher measured lux for these bulbs means that they aren't JUST brighter, they are able to direct it, to improve the distance vision. Which in turn improves safety. Like, if you can see your headlights reflecting in the eyes of wildlife far enough away, you don't even have to hit the brakes, you can just let off and not spook said wildlife.

Why does the lux drop so much in a projector lens? Aren’t they supposed to be better
@HeadlightRevolution20 күн бұрын
Projector lenses are indeed better at focusing and shaping light, but the drop in lux is a common occurrence due to how they distribute light. First, projector lenses are designed to create a precise, spread-out beam pattern, often with a sharp cutoff for low beams, which helps prevent glare for oncoming drivers. This design distributes the light more evenly rather than concentrating it in a single spot, which can result in lower lux (the measured brightness in one specific area) even though the beam’s overall quality and spread are significantly improved.

I upgraded from the M2S2.0 to 3.0 in my Wife’s BMW E90 halogen reflectors. The beam pattern was much improved and was very slightly brighter. I feel like 90% of the 4.0 improvements are with the driver and clocking adjustment. Which is good, but the light output looks very much the same. GTR definitely looks brighter, and a bit higher color temp, but not as well controlled. Not an issue with the lights tested here, but I’d bet there will be some that don’t work well. I’d be surprised if they work well on our E90, for example. FWIW I put the M2S3.0 in my 2016 Ford Transit Connect van too, and they work very well with a nice clean cutoff.
