I like what you did!!!! I hope you decided to take care of your t-top panels too. I just did my t-top panels a few days ago. Held up for 30 plus years. It was easy to do and makes a huge difference!! Not sure if I’m going to add the original sticker operation instructions back to the tops. I like the clean look of it.

My headliner is crap... But I'm thinking spray painting it black, or after seeing your video, it looks kinda cool without the board. Did you consider leaving the metal top as is?

I did consider it, but I like the full interior look. If I were going for a race car style I would definitely leave the roof off but I want a complete interior on this Z

Does the new headline material have that foam behind it? I’m wondering if I could just get some vinyl fabric or something from a fabric store and just use that instead of this

There's a bit of foam behind it to make it soft but you could totally use any type of vinyl or fabric you choose
