Just ALWAYS be aware of what you're doing with a rotary cutter. I've used one for leather work for years, and even with a thick ruler, it can easily jump over the edge and roll across your fingers. Not a fun time lol. Other than that, they are exceptional tools to utilize, especially if you invest in a blade sharpener cause those blades aren't cheap!

Those mini-portraits would made beautiful Christmas tree ornaments! A tree with all of them and some LED candles would look so magical and classy. Everard & his empty chair is hysterical, I love that idea. Frames turned out beautiful, well done. 😊✨

Wow, rotary cutter! Welcome to the 21st Century! One thing I have noticed with You Tube crafters is that men tend to use exacto knives and women have been using rotary blades for years. I just assumed men preferred exacto knives to rotary cutters; I didn't realize they didn't know they were out there! As far as the sound, rotary is superior to knife every time. You want to hear really satisfying rotary cutting go watch a tutorial by Donna Jordan for Jordan Fabrics. Best. Sound. Ever. Love the idea of the two part portrait in different rooms; really fun!

Am I the only one who's really annoyed, that the "Newt Scamander" portrait is actually a Albrecht Dürer painting from 1507. And does anyone know when Newt was supposed to be a headmaster? Or is there a wizard with exactly the same name, that lived 500 years ago

In the Harry Potter films, a portrait of Scamander is present in the Headmaster's office, thus implying that he was a past Headmaster of Hogwarts and that he had died at some point in the more ambiguous present day timeline of the films.
