First of all, sir you are awesome! your solution totally works, thank you very much for sharing this!!!! For all who is interested, you need a bench supply, set it up V=3.6v I=1.00A. what this clever guy is doing is injecting this voltage to the battery for like 5 to 7 sec, (you must see in your supply the draw of current) after that put it on the case , it may not react at first , if that's the case just repeat the procedure

I'd limit the current to a lot less, like 50mA or 100mA or so. Issue is that if the cell is broken rather than discharged, pushing 1A through it probably will make it heat up and potentially leak or explode. I kept the leads on until my cells were charged to 3.0V, at that time they're happy to charge by themselves again.

Hello all this hack also works for Momentum 3 tws, tried with five pairs, all repaired. What you need is to apply same steps as shown in video. I used three AAA batteries to get 5V and directly applied it to ear bud for 30 seconds (then checked the voltage if it is more than 4v should be good), then put it in the case. Wait for some time 5 - 10 minutes. If ear bud stared to show some signs leave it in charging mode for longer if not redo upper steps.

Cant you tell? Take it out of the case, tap it a few times, put it back in the case, tap it a few times. Rinse an repeat. Problem solved. Honest answer though; from what I can work out, the speaker was faulty and was likely replaced but that part of the video isnt shown.

The batteries are Varta CP1254 and sold by many distributors. Just make sure to choose a valid one and avoid buying from shady ebay sources or from Chinese vendors - these are made in Germany, so there is little reason for them to be cheaper there.
