Headrush makes creating great guitar tone easier than ever. With the FRFR 112 you can have a portable powered speaker that cranks out 2000 watts of pure volume no matter if you are playing at home or at your local club. If you are ready to ditch the heavy tube amp and use some more consistent then the FRFR 112 would be an excellent addition to any players arsenal.

It’s important to note that the speaker sounds more like the direct sound when you are listening vs the miced sound. These speakers sound great.

I’ve been playing a full stack Marshall dsl100 for years and recently switch over to eleven rack. Same company as headrush. No doubt these speakers blow the Marshall outta the water. Much easier to carry around to. I would recommend these to anyone. If you have negative things to say, then you’ve never used them period. 55 year old musician that’s been playing live for centuries

I've been slowly transitioning from all analog to digital gears for years. Using a modeler through a traditional cabinet might work, but it's very limiting and mucks up the desired tone. I bought one of these a few years ago and soon plan to buy another for stereo operational.

when going through a physical cab its best to turn off the cab sim. This is why an FRFR speaker is better when using cab/IR.

Theres a setting in the Headrush to cut low and hi frequency output to match a guitar speakers range. I couldnt dial out the boomy low end and ice picky highs from the amp models until i set these. Now it sounds closer to a tube amp.

Duke Bigguns get the frfr, unless you want to use the mackie's vertically then you should be fine, but when placed horizantally this will narrow the horizontal dispersion and you will hear a drastic change in tone when you move side to side away from the center of the speaker, the frfr doesnt have this problem as it is specifically designed to be used in a horizontal position, other speakers are designed to have a 90 degree horizontal nominal dispersion when used as mains aka used in upright position, and narrows the horizontal dispersion when used as a wedge so it wont bleed too much on other mics on stage

Howdy, so when I got my HeadRush last year purchased 2 alto TS212’s. Is the HeadRush FRFR way better or what’s your real thoughts on it . I don’t gig, only for home use when I want to feel the sound most often headphone and I use my altos for our youth group mostly for PA’s and I get double the use. Just curious if it might be worth it to try to swing it to pick up a HeadRush and use my altos elsewhere.

Jason Fischer the Altos are more than enough for any situation. I am using a pair of the HR speakers for mains as well when needed. They sound great. Alto is owned by the same company as HR so they look the same. The FRFR was tweaked slightly but there shouldn’t be a huge difference.

This is a powered speaker. You do NOT want to use the speaker output on your amp and run it to the speaker. YOU WILL BLOW SOMETHING UP!!!! Every guitar sound needs 3 things.
