No wireless system and to be honest I didnt think that was a big deal. But the wireless works so flawlessly that it makes integrating the PC with the unit really seamless. It is a pretty nice feature to have. Put the MX-5 up for sale and get this thing. Yes they needed this editor bad and it really unlocks what this unit can actually do. Its too much for that little screen and us folks with bad eyes. That was the deal breaker; I was dealing with too much eye strain and getting head aches.

I’m happy with what I’ve been able to do with the MX5, so upgrading isn’t going to be a hardship. From everything I have seen (including your vids) the Ampero has generally better effects, especially reverbs and delays. Plus the Ampero has a mic input (a big perk for buskers) and the more flexible signal chain. If you had to say, this one gives me more bang for buck, where would you land? You can save your response for the video, I'm mostly thinking out loud. I appreciate your vids man! Having the perspective of someone who has hands on experience with these units really helps me wrap my mind around what i could use vs what sounds nice on paper but is not for me. I still haven't bought one of these things and I feel like at this point all I gotta do is pick one. 😅

Still bummed that they still havent added midi switching on the device. MX5 didnt have it either.

What are the midi in/out for then?

@@TaylorDanley Never had any experience with the aux in midi stuff. Is it any different to standard midi switch cables?

We are never getting rackmount alternatives to the Axe-fx, kemper, helix and Bias, are we?
@TaylorDanley13 күн бұрын
Headrush has done it before, so it wouldn't surprise me. But I think that they just kind of fell behind for so long that they need to catch up before they expand into rack gear again. I don't work for them thought, who knows, maybe they abandoned it.

How’s the cloud choices? Is there a variety available already? Do they sound good?

I have a few questions, can I put all my plugs ins on this and use this with studio monitors or frfr? Can I use this is an interface? How’s the expression pedal sound when compared to a typical whammy pedal? So I gues I’m asking, if I got rid of my whammy pedal and interface can I replace them with this and also save my neural DSP and tone X tones to this?

@TaylorDanley as you should. Just some feedback that may or may not improve your content. Long time watcher of your channel, this is the first time I felt mental strain keeping up with the talking, which felt like a waterfall of words esp. at the beginning of the video. I enjoy your videos and would like to do so in the future. Non-native speaker, though pretty fluent in English. Cheers.
