Hardcore survival RPG with non-linear story that lets you play as a young medieval soldier who over the course of battles and adventures becomes the most formidable and respected knight of his era. Or, if he’s not lucky enough, perishes in the chaos of the Hundred Years' War.
Heads Will Roll: Reforged lets the player to take a role of an ordinary medieval soldier who finds himself in the middle of the legendary Hundred Years War between the kings of England and France. You start your way as a simple footman, whose sole ambition is to survive, but with proper skill and cunning or through blood and preservation, you might soon see yourself becoming one of the most famous knights of your time.
This game is a unique type of RPG with survival mechanics and turn-based combat that requires player to make careful decision both inside and outside the fight. The sophisticated combat system utilizes many different parameters including characters’ stats and attributes, familiarity and proficiency with certain weapons, weapon length, fatigue level, various traumas and injuries, as well as hundreds of different items and consumables.

The Hunting Sword and Hunting Knife STACK btw. So that will get you ALOT of leather and 50 gold each time you go scavenging, 70 if you encounter a Boar (it gets auto killed by your hunting gear). Crossbows have ALOT of Trinkets! the Reloading Mechanism so you don't spend Stamina Reloading, Crossbow String which lets you recover 3 Bolts after a fight instead of 1, the Trigger Mechanism letting you Bypass Shields, I will not be surprised if their is even more then that.

And often times unexpected outcomes that lead to virtue loss, despite virtuous intent! An unfortunate artifact of this being a game :)

With 25 Crafting and the Armorsmith civic talent, the Gambeson + Fauld combo seems to yield 0 in all the ability score penalties. Not much of a difference, of course, and I suppose it matters even less back home in England than in the sandy route.

With 20-22 Crafting you can take the BS Hammer, Work Gloves, and Utility Knife to get 30+ Crafting. This dramatically improves armor quality and chances to get double procs.

When your armor gets damaged and you repair it yourself does it lower its stats?

@@dakotafranklin3234 I think it’s technically the armour damage that reduces its stats. Repairing usually restores those stats, but it doesn’t completely restore custom, self-crafted armour.

I believe repairing items also lowers prestige on that item.

How does one get the respite tokens? In my playthrough respite was super useless since i never got any tokens

When you attack, be it split shied or actual attacks afaik

Land any hit to get respite tokens, kill an enemy for 4. If your character is low level you may need to rely on canteens for fatigue control.
